Used ti enjoy a boot sale, although usually anything I wanted was too expensive. How'd your friend do? Shift much? And I''m sure you bought a ticket for that BSA.
That Auto Union is a rare thing! The basic engine is the same as they used in Audi/DKW throughout the 1950s but to see this late model edition - very unusual!
Hello. I'm a subscriber and fan of restoring morris minors. I'm currently restoring a 1968 morris traveller. Do you also supply parts? Im looking for front and rear brake shoes and cylinders, and the master cylinder. Its very difficult here (Ireland) to source supplies.
Glad he went been friends with him for many years and worked on the same site in Worcester for a few years he spent many hours supping tea in my unit lol
That’s pretty good the sort that just tidy up and use, the only thing I’ve found is trying to change back doors from another cat is the hinges are never in the same place
I don't think Danish Oil is very durable outdoors - I've tried it on some Cedar on my garage and it looked nice for a couple of months but soon weathered down to nothing. I would imagine a good varnish re-applied every now and then would be the best option.
Doesn't look bad at all save for valance and paint in places. If wood sound don't remove I did just to tart up paint work, made myself a huge job and reckon months still to go. Is that Bermuda Blue ? Lovely colour and pleased you are keeping car that is 👍
Thanks for that, I will be taking the seats out of the traveller this week and checking the floors before I do anything else then recommission and put it back on the road
