This was a little over 6 years before Movieplex would eventually be added to the Dish Network channel lineup. What is Movieplex? A channel owned by Starz, which also owns Encore.
Maybe you can upload some more promos from their respective relatives (such as ActionMax, ThrillerMax, 5StarMax, WMax, @Max, and OuterMax), during the very last days or so of them using the pre-2004 graphics/bumpers? Besides the OuterMax recording from January 2004. It was also during that time where their relatives were already undergoing a transitional period, since the main Cinemax channel already began to use their 2003-2008 graphics/bumpers. "The Transporter (2002), see it Saturday, February 7th, 2004, on Cinemax."
Wow... I think I had this exact recording if Yogi's First Christmas on a VHS tape that I watched as a kid for years. I still remember the Channel 5 bumper and these exact commercials. Thank you for uploading this.
Let me know if you ever find some Showtime Showcase promo breaks, between March/April 2003 to at least August/September 2006, please? Thanks. The channel is simply called Showcase. Whenever the channel showed their Tonight schedule, before the year 2007, a male voiceover said: "Tonight, on Showcase."
0:26 - good to know that Cinemax had their own full length feature presentations. SUPERIOR GRAPHICS to unpopular HBO. And they had original series. UPN/Warner Bros./WB flagship FTW :) "GoodFellas" also had its premiere on Cinemax. Again who are these dumbasses who think Cinemax has always been less popular than HBO?
I watched Nick Freno and The Wayans Bros. EVERY Wednesday night during the 1996-1997 season. Always looked forward to Wednesday nights! I stopped watching both shows after that season.
