It's got a chain drive rear axle with no diff. It might be a GN or Fraser Nash special. They were all built with narrow rear axles to allow for the lack of slip going around corners. Very twitchy at high speed!
A real shame that those A40's are being wrecked in this way - surely we should be preserving our motoring heritage rather than destroying it........................
I also will never understand why they crush those lovely classics. They must be heartless. For me as a classic car fan hard to see but it is like an accident - you don't want to look at but you do 😔
Where else do these race ringwood i know used to race them but not sure if they shut now. and what does it cost to have one built I'm west sussex area and wanna get into a cheap formula
