I never liked Ali joining the Nation of Islam and some of the things he said about white people, but there again, I have never been denied service at restaurants or hotels, or called racist words to my face. If I put myself in his place I guess I can understand where the animosity comes from. He was very young when he joined those idiots, so I can understand. He ended up being not racist at all and did a lot not only for black people, but people in general.
