So scary when the instructor starts letting go, stability seems so tenuous early on. Once it clicks, though, it feels almost natural and is so much less stressful, which helps you slow down and relax. Keep at it, it's an amazing sport!
10 minutes in the tunnel concentrating on stability & symmetry first could help, then you could also practice 360 turns, forward & backward movement, slow & fast fall rates & finally side slides
