I love watches, let's start with that. I also live and work in Switzerland close to La Vallée de Joux - which kinda helps :) I love watching reviews of watches and one thing I really like is when people that review watches also make sure the quality of the video is great and that is something I can and want to bring to the table (being a professional photographer). - For collaborations feel free to write to me at watchluverswitzerland@gmail.com
That's a very appealing watch. I have a khaki Field auto 38 and i tried the Murph but somehow didn't felt right. I might try this bronze at my local AD. One thing about the Hamilton Khaki's ( at least mine) is the incredible accuracy. I have +20 plus watches from swiss to japanese movements and my 4 year old khaki gets 0 to +1 seconds a day. Only my Sinn 556aRS comes closer but sometimes +2 or -2 sometimes dead on.
No wonder this model is called the toughest G-Shock. It laughed its way through the water torture I put it through at Aquaworld. 😁 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zzuJBbvoorc.html
@@watch_luver I don't want to spoil the surprise, but there's an even tougher test coming up with it. But it goes through that with RADIANT good cheer as well. 😀
I have the same watch .there was a huge interest when moonswatches came out to public but now it calmed down a lot .people realize at the end of the day that wherever they go it is just a low plastic quality watch .fits better for 7 year old kids than adults
@@watch_luver Thanks a lot for your response. I just got my hands on GA-B2100FC and GBX-100-7DR, But both was surprisingly small for my wrist. I would really appreciate if you can suggest me some bigger model which you would choose next. :)
Hum… 1) make sure bluetooths on 2) restarts phone 3) long-press the bottom left button on the watch (mode) for around 7 seconds until the little hand moves to « connection » 4) then quickly open the app on your phone - That should do
I have a decent collection of mid-luxury automatic watches, and bought the yellow version of this on a whim. It may the honeymoon period but I've enjoyed this immensely. When I think about it, it does the tenets of what a watch really should do: be tough, be exact, and be worn.
Thanks for sharing! I agree, I also own the yellow model (which i reviewed in this channel as well) and it is easier to read imo and really does a great job at being a precise watch that you actually wear! Take care
Ah la la… j’aimerais bien! Mais avec les chaînes photo, les shooting, le démarchage et collaborations, etc. Super compliqué 🫣 Je prend note our la SkinDiver!
Oh boy MANY MANY years… The battery gets recharged basically and over the years I changed, gave away, lost, etc. G-shocks before I ever had to change the battery! So don’t you worry, you might run on the same battery for 20+ years probably 😊😉 cheers
@@watch_luver that is insane 🤩......Thanks for responding to my queries.....really appreciate that!❤️ Just subscribed you ..... Would love to see more of your content being a watch Enthusiast ❤️
- hard to press? You think so? Mine are actually quite soft - yep - it’s a retro design watch (in fact it’s the original G-Shock so it definitely looks retro! - I love the labels but I respect your views and thoughts Thanks for sharing!
i just bought this watch and i love it, i receive the radio wave every night, the watch get update every day, i dont fell it on the wrist and the tough solar is a great thing to, Gshock is known for its toughness and durability
You get five world times on this watch with the ability to switch your current time with any world time you choose, will auto update with the atomic signal
I've taken mine down to 30-50m as a diver. No issues. It's tough, though salt, lint and dead skin build up under the bezel. $12 for a new bezel gave it another 10 years of utility. I find it ugly (in its native form), but very useful as a cornerstone of a collection. An atomic/radio watch is very valuable for setting the time of the others. Whatever your watch tastes, a 5610 will be a net positive.
The really funny part, it took me a moment looking at the thumbnail to recalibrate from Invicta Pro Diver to BB. I like watches, but I totally get why my wife says they all look the same.
Time format: I like the US format of month.date. I create about 10 project computer files a day for correspondence, archive & job progress. The US format is simple and convenient to glance down at my watch. Example: Xxxx.Year.Month.Date 👍. I have multiple projects floating around in my head at any point. Just a tiny convenience.
Yup, I can see why! I organise my compute files the same YYYYMMDD but here in Europe it’s sometimes hard to figure out the date at a glance since we learn to always look at the day and the month (and the year). Take care!
I bought the yellow and the blue one and swapped the faces, then I sold the yellow one with the darker face on eBay. I love the blue watch with the yellow watch face. Perfect match. Bought some JaysAndKays Metal Adapters and some stretchy bands. I also bought a full metal case and bracelet for it with original markings for around $60. Casio wants $600
