Personally, my favorite line from MacFarlane is Tortured Souls series 2. So much detail and so many accessories with each figure, MacFarlane was at the top of their game with that one
I watched this video for 100th time and now burning my pockets to collect the harry potter star ace figures. Any inputs on where can I find these dolls for reasonable prices, I checked starace, spacecollectables and ebay ..I don't find hermione for less prize she is selling for 500+ .
I’m not surprised she’s expensive, she’s a great figure. Once the InArt comes out, maybe she’ll drop in price. Sorry, but it seems like eBay is the best bet these days.
@@MichaelCrawfordCaptainToy Thanks for the quick response , so far I bought voldemort, ron, harry, moody, serious black 😅 more to goo! I wish if I can steal ur harry potter dolls. Inart is retailing at 769 for hermione 🥲
Loved the James Bond line. Only one I bought a bunch of. Sad that Big Chief bit the dirt before going very far. Oh and Lord of the Rings, too. These targeted an audience that doesn't exist anymore...they were cheap enough you could buy a bunch without breaking the bank, so they could go deep. Now people demand perfection at 1:6 in the post-Hot Toys days and stuff like this have gone out the window.
I, finally, received my EXO-6 Odo figure. It was very worth the wait! Having another of my favourite Trek characters, as a museum quality piece, is amazing. I’m extremely happy, with how he turned out. I’d love a Neelix review. I’m a big Voyager fan, as well. Any of the SDCC Hot Toys announcements catching your eye, Mike?
@@MichaelCrawfordCaptainToy I got a Black Widow order in, as well. Very excited to receive that, later on. I sold my DX13 T-800, so that new terminator peaked my interest. I haven’t seen the movie, but I did order Wolverine. Deadpool seems a little like the Endgame “movie promo edition” of Cap. Especially, given the fact that the release date has jumped to next month. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a different one, with an unmasked sculpt, down the line. I’m holding off, for now.
@@TheWinterCollector very surprised DP didn't come with an unmasked portrait. But won't be surprised if they don't milk it to death. Can see Handsomepool being released
Love the EXO-6 work, even though I can only afford to pick and choose my favorites. The Playmates 9” Kirk (Spock) in Environmental Suit is a fantastic figure for the price and really pops on your shelf.
Yep, he’s there - it’s the boxed one the punk rocker is leaning against. Have all the variants too, but most are still boxed since the changes aren’t major.
I went all in on the Sideshow X-Files line from 20 years ago, even tracking down the 2 limited to 500 edition figures. They are a little dated, but it's a great group of characters from a series I love that nobody else has done other than Threezero who only did Mulder and Scully.
10 This Time it's War 9 “Don’t look, Marion! Keep your eyes shut!” 8 'We are the Knights who say ni!' 7 Send... more... paramedics. 6 "Mos Eisley spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." 5 Take your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ape! 4 Oh my God. You will never believe what happened at school today! 3 Why are you screaming? I haven't even caught you yet! 2 You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Outer Limits /That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop, the Twilight Zone! 1 Children of the night. What figures they make.
It's interesting how all of these are older series... I think it's mostly that they don't really go deep anymore, but i also think some of their newer 1/6, even deeper ones like the DC line are just not as engaging. I am excited about the upcoming Pennywise though, but they do seem mostly out of 1/6.
I'm so lucky I have the Jonny Ranch House and all the doll's too.I have a doll case too I love this doll line.Great video Take Care Best Paul from Chicago.
DST's Muppet Select line is my favorite. I hope they continue regularly releasing figures for the line. I'll buy them all. Their LOTR line is also great. It's too bad rising costs have made them move away from build-a-playsets. That would have been amazing for Muppets or LOTR.
Collecting has been going very well, as of late. Picked up a couple new Marvel Legends, including the newest She-Hulk & Wolverine figures. They’re very colourful pieces, for the shelf. I scored a few more of NECA’s Last Ronin figures, as well. It’s been a solid week, for the collection. You doing any new reviews, Mike? (Just wondering) Enjoy your weekend, brother. 👍
@@MichaelCrawfordCaptainToy that's good to hear! My set is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I was worried because I've read complaints from a few folks that some of the figures had stuck joints. Thanks for the info and great video, as always!
when pics dropped of the animated mezco turtles i told myself i didnt need em cause i snagged the first set, but once i saw them in comparison to those i knew i'd love them just as much! so glad i have both but now i might have to pass on super7 2k3 turtles
Out of all the old ones are the best. My love for superman. First version of batman and set are still the best figure i didnt aquired to have 😢 i wish i can
