actually from what ive read, the cow part is only partly true.. people dont just land in cows.. it depends on how good a life you lived - kindess to others, etc. if you did better, you got a higher station in your next life which could be even more successful humans.. the downside of that is that if you were a bad person, you got worse.. you could also become a dog, or even an insect. The cow is just the most popular animal to make fun of because of its status of being sacred.
