Nice work! Great if there’s an intruder. One could easily slip into the ‘Panic Room’ for safety. Throw some tech in there with monitors from camera feeds from around the house, then you wouldn’t be blind. Or even a hidden peephole of sorts. You could have time to load and pop ‘em before they even knew what hit them. Great room for women to evade assault or abduction.
This is the Osprey Farpoint 55 TRAVEL which is really a 40L + 15L dual set up. The Deuter Transit 50 isn't even on their website anymore. Not sure if it's still offered. Does't look like it.
I purchased them from Rockler. These were part#32407 but they don't carry them anymore. I think #66613 would do the trick. They need to pull the door away from the wall before the pivot, otherwise it'll bind. Good luck!
Thank you! I was looking for a video comparing these specific backpacks. Though you obviously have your preferences, its very clear to me that for my preferences the Osprey is way better than the Deuter. I take it that you you use yours for quick business travels.
I tried your method, but still I get weak draw. Did it twice. I wonder if it can be cleaned better with other then running hot water? I ordered ceramic, hopefully i'll have better luck cleaning it with peroxide.
I used this review to choose between Transit and Fairview but for luck I didn't take into account the negatives described for the Farpoint. I bought the Fairview 55(female version of the Farpoint)and I can say that EVERY SINGLE NEGATIVE COMMENT IN THIS REVIEW IS NOT TRUE!!The Osprey zips work perfectly, it's not true that the bag has to be flat to be closed, is not true that the mesh of the daypack cannot be used for bottles...and so on. I recommend Farpoint and Farview because they are wonderful backpacks and they have way more features than the Deuter Transit.
Hey Giovanna Di Domenico. Sorry if I gave you the impression I didn’t like the Osprey, it is a great bag. I was just giving my own personal opinion. Glad you like it!
@@chaos9519 yes of course! And I thought it was important to give mine just to underline that your review was a personal opinion rather than the objective description of features. Your review has been really helpful for me, I hope with my comment to make a little bit more precise and though more useful. 😀
Paolo Raymondi I’ve read mixed things. I personally haven’t tried it but talked to a guy who does it regularly and he said your best bet is to zip the shoulder straps closed and carry it like a small suitcase.
very nice result. I've got a huge master closet and was thinking of doing something similar....creating a small hidden area behind the "new" shelves, etc to hide valuables, etc.
I really appreciated this review, it was the first good one I've found that touched on the Deuter Transit! Production quality wasn't a distraction from all of the great information. :]
This home is at 111 Huntington Heights, it's being built by DiPietro Builders. Steve Crossway was our sales rep, he was incredibly helpful. For reference, this is going to be a zero energy home that requires extremely airtight construction. On this 4300sqft build we achieved 0.2 ACH 50 using your system.
Fair warning though. While doing this, my coil wire snapped and detached (along with the wick) from inside the column, because once you take the first part off with the pliers, the coil wire is all that secures if to the tank, and its VERY thin. I wouldn't recommend doing any of the shaking or using high pressure water. Perhaps its best to let it soak in water for a day?
Just fin cleaning my cart. I noticed a few of the wick hairs burnt in-two at the edge of the coil. Might be coincidence but when your wick starts glowing red dont over do it. As with anything trial and error applies. I didnt burn my coil nearly as much as in the video; however i havent used the cart yet either. It does look very clean and the wick looks white also. The pan under the coil is still somewhat dirty...maybe boiling some water (but let is cool off just a bit) and soaking the cart in this before the burn might help.
Thx much! This vid was EXACTLY what i was searching for. I had read where peeps "removed" the center piece but thought the entire shaft came out. My cart is 2 weeks old and im getting a strong taste on my lips after each draw (usually 4 to 5 sec w/at least 20 between each draw). My original cart...I have 2 others so cleaning and air-drying wont be a prob. Thx again
I usually clean my cartridges every two or three weeks? Some carts need more frequent cleaning. I'm not sure why but I think it depends on how tight or loose the coils were wrapped at the factory.
