I noticed you didn't use the mixer when you were combining the sugar and the butter. The last pie I made never set up and was runny. I'm wondering if the fact that I use the hand mixer to combine the butter and the sugar might have caused this. Is there a reason you don't use the mixer here? Thank you

I don’t put any water in mine or if I do no more that a tablespoon (depending on how much cabbage you’re making) cabbage makes it’s on juice so u do not need to add a lot of water. I also add onions, salt, pepper and if I have them green peppers. Then whatever meat u season it with. I cook mine on low heat covered pot.
This is a great video, for those that want a meat free but flavorful option use better than bouillon roasted garlic or vegetable base with water and it’s delicious! Thanks for the tutorials ❤
