I have tried to connect to an F5 drive with the Combivis 6 software but it does not establish communication, I am using the original Keb HSP5 cable, I had to download version 5 of Combivis to be able to communicate, note: my F5 drive has the keypad model: 00 .F5.060-2000, and I see that the video drive is model 00F5060-F000, I have already tried with 2 different PCs and I can't, what's missing...?
Hey Daniel, Wondering if you can help me, I upgraded my laptop recently, no serial port only has usb ports. I was wondering if you knew any way of making USB to Serial connect to F5 drive? I do have the cable shown in this video and HSP5 cable. I have tried a couple of different drivers including the Keb driver for the USB serial adapter. Hope you can answer my questions.
@@RamanPOTL Hello, I have only been able to connect to the F5 drives with the Cobivis V5 software, and I have done so with the original cable, which consists of the RJ45 to DB9 adapter (00.F5.0C0-0020) + HSP5 TTL converter (00.F5 .0C0-0010) and I use a conventional USB to serial (LBUSB16232), I have never managed to connect with version 6 of Combivis, I hope this helps you...
