My name is Nygia Lauren! Pronounced (ny-gee-uh)...Here we indulge in my shopping addiction, amazon obsession, fitness journey, & navigate through life as I know it chileee….
I don't think he should have gotten fired but that was definitely inappropriate. Doing things like that are how the lines become blurred between teacher and student.
I have been wearing the pixie forever. It grew out some so I can do some crochets. But this is the best hair style. I love the pixie it will never go out of style. I do go every 2 weeks because I work two jobs and my niece does my hair (no discount) LOL. It is easy to maintain too with the right products and stylist. Have you tried Nairobi foam wrap? I have very soft and curly hair. It works well. Plus the paper strips around my head. Subscriber here awesome video!!! You look beautiful!!
This is a cute style on you but I know I'm too damned lazy to do this up keep or go to the salon regularly to get my hair relaxed and cut. Also relaxer always seem to take all the volume out of my hair...I'm not a fan of flat hair. I literally want to jump on a plane with my carry-on to the Mediterranean or the Caribbean or the rest of the tropics with a silk scarf, a comb, a brush, shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner without a care in the world. (I've done this before.) Top tips for itchy scalp- daily scalp mist and weekly shampoo. Top tips for coloured/bleached hair- Hard protein treatment every 4 weeks. Olaplex No. 0,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and the blow dry mist every 4 weeks. Daily protein mist, Daily moisture mist. Weekly deep conditioner with heat and a dash of Olaplex no.3. Hair Vitamins for 6 months. An onsale Olaplex trial. kit will last more than a year on short hair ( less than 5 inches) That's how I kept most of my hair when I had bleached honey blond bayalage highlights. Oh I only bleach once a year on virgin super healthy hair. I don't double process so no bleach and relaxer for me or bleach and heat tools for me. My hair is too fine for lots of heat, chemical and mechanical manipulation. That's why I'm a one style and done for most of the week.
Beautiful 😍 I just locd my hair a second time after severe damage as well, and I’m going thru basically a very short phase again with all the shrinkage. I think often how crazy we and others are attached to hair but especially black womens hair and the way it’s perceived. At the end of the day, we gon get where we need to and god is teaching/giving us beauty that is uniquely ours ❤❤❤❤
Yes!!! I can remember saying that I wanted locs at one point but I didn’t want to go the thru the “ugly”/short phase and I hate that I said that because there isn’t ANYTHING wrong with short hair. There’s so much beauty in being an outlier when everybody looks the same these days! We def should embrace it no matter what phase we are in 💕
This should receive 100 million views ! The little girl in me is a little more healed. I needed to hear this while Growing up! I literally cried throughout the whole thing . Thank you ❤
What shade is your Mac foundation? I checked your description box but I don’t see it 🥹 I also use Nars Walnut concealer and I have a feeling we might be foundation twins too!!
NW45!!…I recently started using this NARS foundation www.ulta.com/p/light-reflecting-advanced-skincare-foundation-pimprod2030141?sku=2591144&cmpid=PS_Non%21google%21Product_Listing_Ads&CAWELAID=330000200002853739&srsltid=AfmBOooDovaGDXpcK7x0Ty2jUJylMZ5KIUp70Efm0W72nQVdD0JMEc_VwYE in Manaus ….I love itttt !!
Suggestion: purchase some wrap strips the back will definitely lay down with the wrap strips. Purchase a hooded dryer or cap dryer that you can use with your blow dryer. Nairobi foam wrap will not let you down. To combat the dryness do a hot oil treatment with heat before you wash your hair, always deep condition with heat and before you mold your hair add a little oil then use use foam wrap and sit under your dryer. Also use a relaxer that has some type of moisturizing oil. Mazani, Design Essentials, ORS, Affirm are very good they are more expensive but your hair will thank you. I have a Pixie cut
I ended up purchasing the wrap strips shortly after this video. I gave my hair break but will be making more short hair content soon...Thank you for the tips, I will def implement them the next time I do my cut!!
