This show was my childhood i still remember the opening title that came on the channel every week. I wish there were more episodes because these never got old. I try to mold my videos after the old shows i grew up watching on the Outdoor Channel in particular. If theres more I hope to see them :)
Great info. Just ran 48 out of 50 clays last night. Reasons people miss is 1) lifting their head, 2) not following through 3) not having a gun that fits them 4) shooting too fast 5) not slowing down and on the lefts and rights. Tips, learn to shoot with both eyes open (you are pointing not aiming and it's easier to see the lefts and rights this way). Turn your feet different on each stand to allow you better movement for the direction the clays can go at. Start with an affordable gun, and spend the rest on ammo to get good then buy yourself a nice shotgun. Good luck and see you at the range.
I hunted ducks with both company's in Mazatlan . Muchos patos and Aviles brothers. I can tell as your both know. The shooting is fantastic. In fact I have two videos of duck hunting there under Larry Cross. Enjoy the videos of some fantastic duck hunting lot of action
Hungarian partridge are not a white meat bird they are a medium dark meat. I would know because I raised thousands of them. I was a breeder for years. One the 14 breeders in the whole country.
I am thoroughly enjoying watching Bruce and Marty videos. Hope they are still active and enjoying bird shooting in different parts of the world. Would highly appreciate if you would let’s us know. Wish them good health and good luck.
It's crazy how many gun-safety rules are broken by trap shooters (this guy is no exception). Do they feel they're exempt from such things? Also, what's with the bizarre music?
Sir, I thoroughly enjoyed this instructional video. Using the video technology allowed me to see how I know what a correct mount looks like. Your dominate eye was in the center of your barrel, the barrel and the bead were aligned as well, and you kept it locked 🔒 in place as you did the various 3 shooting methods! 🎉Thank you so much‼️
Leo was a super trap shooter and he never seem to miss them. He's like a guided missle leaving ink blots in the sky. He congratulated me once when shooting at the grand for winning a handicap yardage trophy. Didnt even think he knew I was there. Shook my hand like a real gentleman. He is missed by all .
Gosh... thats SOOOO easy to understand!!! one unit!! a unit = the width of the clay. So one unit is one clay wide. So when I shoot a 20-30 yard full crosser, I need to make the lead 4 clays in front of the one i'm going to shoot. How simple! works on midis too as one unit is now smaller coz the clay is smaller. Genius!
Oh no... hold on, it doesn't work... there's a HURRICANE coming in the opposite direction so the 4 units doesn't work anymore as the lead is not 4 units in front, its four units BEHIND the clay coz the hurricane blew it backwards. WAIT! Hold on... it DOES WORK, its now 4 units BACKWARDS!! so all I have to remember is when there's a hurricane blowing in the opposite direction of crossing flight, I have to apply negative units. Brilliant! What happens in a tornado, though? it'll be going round and round?
Fascinating 20 min video. I moved to Spain 6 years ago and need to get back into shooting. Clays are my preference though … I don’t have the budget to shoot birds. Thanks for uploading.
Purchased in 2022, All American 32in. Worst investment I have made todate. I was "approved" the return to manufacture to repair known problem. Im now the 3rd person (in SA Texas) to have trigger or sear problems with this brand. I also noticed that bqz its sold under 3k, most people just say, you get what u pay for. Sending back, 6 months of mechanical failures.
