I'd like to see the internals. I worked in a mobile phone repair shop and we used to get 'reconditioned' mobiles customers had bought from music magpie. It was ridiculous, missing screws, plates missing, just a mess. They claim they do so many checks and i emailed them to ask why they didn't do the checks they claimed to do. I didn't get a reply.
Hey man, check my other videos, I did a video opening the Backmarket one! That doesn't surprise me unfortunately, big variety in the quality of different refurbishers...
Well after replacing the battery the difference is more like £100. For which you do get a new casing and all functionality with no weird error messages. Is Apple expensive? In the short term it looks like it. But if you do the math in the long run, the difference with other brands is marginal + there's the resale value; not only because of the brand, but because it's an all original product.
I’m no fan of Apple customer care, but this is not a fair comparison, you should have bought the best condition phone from back market, and that would have been perfect, seems as though it’s just that you tight
I’m convinced apple refurbished is actually new. But not sure how environmentally friendly it is to needlessly replace certain parts that aren’t broken or damaged though..
Actually, this tablet looks kinda "honest" if I compare it with the many other "deals / bargains" I've seen, seriously, they say 2GB RAM 32GB ROM, and it has it (apparently) But when I login into AliExpress, they're constantly bombing me with astronomical specs tablets and phones that claim to be "original" Lenovo, Xiaomi, etc, and unbelievable specs, like a Mediatek Dimensity 9300 decacore or Snapdragon 800, 10-12-16GB RAM, 512GB, 1-2TB storage, 108MP camera.... for only US$60 (50%off) and of course, all of that is just a scam
I got mine from a seller on eBay for 320$ they sent it in a big box full of packing peanuts so it was well protected and the phone had not even one visible scratch and it's the phone I used to watch this video on the inner screen is amazing for videos
had 2 phones and a tablet from back market, bought as excellent condition and they were, not a mark on them, worked as they should and all have lasted over 18 months
Oh, I'm glad to hear you had a good experience, and thanks, you've given me an idea to do a follow up on some of the phones I got from there to see how they're doing some time later...
Hi, thanks for watching! I'm glad it was useful to you. Their website is just the word 'backmarket' followed by your counties domain extension e.g. Backmarket.co.uk here in the UK, or backmarket.com in the states (they dont operate in all countries though).
never buying from them again... I got an iPhone 12 Pro in the best condition avalable and the screen just stopped responding... got a refund and bought a brand new iPhone 14 Plus I found on sale from Vodafone and I never looked back.. better buy new it's worth it in the long run.
I bought my fake apple watch ultra from Ali express, 28 quid, it's awsome, has a camera, full android play store, as a gadget it gets my thumbs up, super bright screen and very snappy, Amoled screen as well , I have it running all kinds of stuff, I love showing apple watch owners my fake and showing them playing a TV show or playing Minecraft or running a tiny little music studio, the camera is pretty decent for 1.3 mp, it takes really usable pictures in good light. I buy all my fake lego from Ali express as well, had no issues at all with it, I buy loads of stuff from there, it's cheap and it's pretty good
STAY AWAY. I returned a Samsung phone that was constantly restarting, within the warranty period. Included pictures of the phone in my online return form. Backmarket sent my phone back, and stated the warranty was voided due to cracked camera, evidence of dropping. However, there were no cracks or damage of any kind when I sent the phone to them. I packaged it well, in the same packaging I received the phone. I know they damaged it themselves - whether on purpose or not I don't know, but they're using it as the reason they won't honor the warranty. Now I have no phone and no recourse. I asked repeatedly to be contacted by a manager, no contact. You can't call anyone, it's all online correspondence. I do NOT recommend this company. They are not honest and they do not honor their warranty and they have very poor customer service.
If I was a reviewer, reviewing back market, and if I had the expenses in hand, I would start with 3 different devices, with a 3 tier system of fair, good, and excellent condition. This, would at least provide a somewhat more controlled comparison. So with that sample, we'd have 27 outcomes, real data to work with. If you want to expose them as a scam, or a legit company, do the real legwork.Thats just my fantasy. Reviewing 1 or 3 buys isn't a great sample. This isn't directed towards you, personally. It's just a thought I had after watching several back market reviews.
0:55 and prayers 😂 I just ordered an s22 Ultra from back market. Prayers indeed 👃I know it's a year later, and things might be different now, or not 😬. I guess we'll see. Thanks for the research. I'll report back if or when my shipment comes.
@whizzard yeah, it came with att carrier apps, I just stuck a tmobile Sim card in it, and it prompted me to reboot the phone so it could uninstall the att apps and install the tmobile ones. No unlock code or anything. It came in very nice condition. Only a couple scratches near the charging port. Got the excellent condition one. Very happy with it.
@@heli0s2003 OK, thanks!, i'm very pleased to hear that, i hate when people watch my video, buy from them and have a a bad experience... i've had a few people let me know 🤣
im thinking of buying an ipjone 11 pro, im worried but after seeing these comments i might do it. i lost my phone and have already used the applecare theft and lost to its capacity so it wont cover anything.
I have overwhelmingly had good experiences with them, especially phones, but is there a particular reason you'd prefer the 11 pro over the 12? It's only a touch more and I generally feel the year newer is worth more than the 'pro'... Especially if you're not getting one with a replaced battery...
