Thanks for sharing about the fruit of the spirit. One Summer the kids had 9 weeks off school (Summer holidays) and so I asked my daughters to illustrate (draw) one of the fruits of the Spirit each week of Summer. They are both 40 now but I still have one daughter’s submission a long scroll with each fruit illustrated. I like what you’re wearing around your neck. That could be used as a cooling cloth for hot Summer days. If it was made in cotton you could dampen it and wear it around your neck on a hot Summer day to help keep cool. But of course, if one has air conditioning there would be no need. We’re heading into a heat wave and so my cooling cloth will get a workout this week (June 17 -21).
Amazing video Teresa! Really enjoyed everything about it :) If possible in the future, could you do a video revving up your car? So we can hear how it sounds! 😀
Amazing! That would be really good if you could do such a video. Would be brilliant to see you Rev your car up whilst it is static. Sure your car sounds very nice 😀 If you could show a pedal shot whilst you Rev your car up that would be much appreciated too!! Keep up the great videos 😀
You’re right, we usually do adjust to change that we’ve initiated. The change that surprises or comes in unannounced is often the one that is the most difficult to deal with. You’ve probably heard it said, how we respond to change, our attitude, can make a difference. And of course we have the Lord who knew that change was coming. Our hand is in His hand, or as the scripture says, “He holds us by our right hand.” For me I think, what a great Dad I have (meaning God). And so, if He holds us with his hand, all we need do is do what He asks. How do we know that? It’s often that quiet consistent voice within that says, “this is the right way, walk in it.” Trusting for the best for you…
What a lovely truth and response Sue. Thank you for sharing. You and Stanley need to come visit this Summer! We could do some collab videos, kayaking, knitting, and sitting! Lol😂
@@teresamckelvey Thank you so much for that idea. Sounds like a plan. We’ll have to work something out. Stan is officially retiring from his part time job (Pastoral Care), finished end of April. I might take a couple weeks off from my PT job and plan some travel. My work slows down after Father’s Day and so… we’ll keep the idea open, make a plan and see what we come up with.
So excited to be back at it! Loving the studio and excited to be bringing this study to youtube. Fruit of the Spirit has always been interesting to me.
Haven’t watched the whole video yet but… As Stanley told me, did you know that God is divorced. He divorced Israel. Good thing there is a lot of grace in life and with God. Grace and forgiveness. Blessings…PS. Stanley is a retired pastor working part time in Pastoral Care. Both of us had unfaithful spouses and we were on our own for (me- 4 1/2 yea, Stan 7 1/2 yrs). We met at age 43 and 54, met and married in 6 weeks, a Divine appointment. I like what you said about divorce being an act. You’re right, it’s something that happens to us or that at times must occur, but it is not “who we are”. No one goes into marriage with the intention of divorce, but… God loves us and you’re right, you are still you. He still loves you. Blessing on you…
You are so sweet. I have a feeling we four are going to be friends, you two in Alabama and us two up here in Ontario, Canada…lol… loved your video, of course. I just turned on my iPad and there you were, so neat. So, your excursion has inspired my excursions…lol… We are heading into our Thanks giving weekend and plan on taking in the Fall colors. Thanks so much for everything.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 Courage and bravery coincide. This is the scripture that came to mind when listening to your video today.
I just LOVE how I can be freaking out over a situation & pray & God gives me an OVERWHELMING sense of the Peace that passes understanding! I literally do NOT understand how those that don’t have this get through life! I don’t think I could!
Thank you sweetheart. You are so kind. You make me sound so wonderful but I know better. I do love our life and I love that no matter how imperfect we are I love and cherish every minute of our life together. I especially enjoy our walks together in New York City sitting in our recliners eating brownies. I love you.
I thank God for giving me a partner that works with me to balance each other out. It does help to have physical reminders to refresh our thoughts with truth. We're not always going to have someone around to speak Life or Truth into us. We should have these things surrounding us at all times. God and his word he is our foundation and he never moves.
