Improvements aren't just about speed, they are also things like cornering, bodyroll, suspension, braking. To base a car's performance on speed alone isn't fair, if you have ever raced someone before you would know that most races don't happen in straight lines.

it's 0.3s improvement for only Stage 1 which will be basic things like intake and a mild tune. Very impressive shows the potential that these engines have.
