Wow love the look of this homestay. It's well equipped and tastefully decorated. And that view..... what a view! I'd imagine on a clear day the blue skies would be beautifully reflected on the waters blanketing the fields. Another spot well worth visiting in northern Thailand. Thanks Art! 😃

7: 01 . The candles at the Temple are very strange. I have never seen them before. in Vietnam it doesn't look like that. How long is the burning time? in Vietnam. Light a candle to pray for good things and dedicate that merit to for ancestors! In fact now I am very interested in candles, even learning how to pour out beautiful, smokeless candles that burn for a long time. Worshiping Buddha and pray is very good🙏
Thanks for your kind message. The candle making is "Fhun Thien" in local language. It aims for removing bad luck. One candle can take 20 mins or more to burn, I think. i really love the rice terrace views from the small and modern homestay. the ambient sounds from the paddy fields remind me of the one back in my hometown of Perlis. you can visit the Kelabit Highlands in Sarawak one day famous for rice production called Bario. you will enjoy the beautiful Bario rice fields under the cool and crisp air and also try out its famous sweet pineapples and delicious homecooked food provided by the homestay hosts.
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing. We have so many things in common here in Southeast Asia. I have been to some paddy fields in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia, etc; however, you've never been to Kelabit Highlands in Sarawak (been to Sabah for the music fest!) Homestay is charming as hosts are always very welcoming and letting guests learn new things in their communities. More videos to come!
Amazing video! Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka are main destination for most of foreign tourist but FUKUOKA is where you must go and should put in your travel plan! The food capital of JAPAN!
