Wow, if this isn't the best take on Trane's classic band (McCoy, Elvin, Jimmy Garrison) I don't know what is. Never heard any of these cats before now and they are totally smokin!
Thanks for uploading this lp. Great to hear it again. Not enough Moir clips out there either. I wish the GTK clip with the Moir sisters was available and where is the Countdown Harmony blues clip? probably taped over.

I bought this album when I was in college. I brought it home and played it for my Mother. Wrong move🤗! She bogarted it!! She LOVED thus album!!! Needless to say I had to buy another to take back to school. I want to thank Rev Louise Williams of WDAS radio in Philly for exposing this WONDERFUL GOSPEL OPERA!!!!
A truly sublime display of musicianship from such young artists.Totally beguiling nebulous and haunting melodies and harmonies. A completely one-off trio the likes of which we will never see or hear again. Thanks for the pleasure you gave us.
@@djtrakakadrunkpoet8598 ah just look around, perhaps klick a few "never gona hear that"stuff""-stuff 😂 whereas, I must admit Francois is more of a large cave submerged in icy water most of the time on this album...but dude, do I like that!
This is one of the best records ever made and profoundly influenced me. So many wonderful moments, textures, and songs. It is an entire world in musical form.
I swear Eric Persing had something to do with this album. I feel like he may have provided George Duke with some syths as he was still at roland at the time of this release- ( This album sounds very ROLAND ).
I found this on cassette last week at the thrift store, I got it because I loved the cover art. Listened to it on the way home and had a really intense moment with myself. So beautiful 🥰
I also discovered synchestra and Ed's music by finding several of their cassettes in thrift stores, unfortunately lost most of them over the years. Great to hear again
My Granddad (the beard) was a DJ back in the '60s all through the LA area and the Bay area and "you can be sure" was one of his favorites. Glad my dad has passed this music on to me.
