I hear this so often, “if you’re legal…”. You should go watch some of these Florida vids where the fwc arrests dead sober boat captains. All the time. Not to mention the stops are initiated via unconstitutional “safety” inspections. So no… if you’re legal it doesn’t have to go well. These people are not your friends. Same as cops.
To each his own, but never seen anyone switch hands to reel an open faced spinning reel. Every open faced spinning reel I own the handle is reversible so I can mount it so I don’t have to switch hands to reel.

How did you get it to stay in place? I just built one based off your other video using the same angle venturi and it is wanting to tip over as well as spin. I have yet to add a weight though. I was thinking of doing both a weight and 3 large suction cups.
This is stupid, Im a geneticist I breed animals for a living. The crosses here are fertile.. being put into a river system with white bass and access to white bass spawning grounds. And this has been going on for decades.. Only way to tell 100% if a fish in these river systems are hybrids or indeed white bass is to test the dna. Their is a thing call hybrid ratio and traits can be borrowed, enhanced erased etc.. I cannot believe any state would base laws on such BS.
The game warden i ran into in ohio was just a hole . Was 95 degrees and i forgot my water bottle cuz i move around alot when i fish asked if i could go get it that i didnt mean to leave it he was like you can tell the judge tommorow i was like ok told the judge the next day and he didnt charge me for anything
Why do you cast with your right hand and reel with your right hand?? Have to change hands after every cast?? Somebody never taught you how to use a spinning rod.
Wonderful series. I have a few questions. I'm also from and just purchased a 1992 1606. 1st how big was your gas tank in the belly and where in the boat was it located. 2nd if you stand at the back of the boat and see three holes which is drain plug and which is livewell? Thank you
All Michigan DNR while approaching you , have already decided you have done something wrong. Some have no clue about hunting or fishing or trapping. They are just more cops.
Not all of them! The lady that works the Au Train area in the U.P is cool. The ones around Manistee area have been great. The ones I've come across on the east side of the state, there's many that just assume everyone is a liar! Here's the thing, as long as you have not broken any laws, nothing to worry about. Some are able to separate one encounter to the next, but others can not, so they hold onto that bad interaction and carry it on to the next person, unfortunate for the public.
I have live minnows that I'm trying to save for ice fishing. If I insulate 2 garbage pails, one inside the other, would that work. what would I insulate with. during the cold winters.
