Great timing posting this the day the middle hit a billion streams on Spotify! This was such a great listen. This album is easily a 5/5, and still doesn’t crack my top 3 Jew albums. So much to love on this album. Great episode on it, I’m loving this podcast. And btw, just wanna say that i own and have watched the ‘Believe In What You Want’ dvd many times and I love it 😤
Great episode! Underoath has always been undercredited in terms of their impact on the scene. They just did a song with BMTH and Oli talked about their impact on their music and on the state of music at that time. I would love you guys to do one of Bring Me The Horizon earlier albums whether that is Count Your Blessing or all the way to Sempiternal. Living through that time when those albums released I've noticed that new fans love when I share about the state of the scene at that time. I think new fans would also benefit hearing you guys talk about it as well as I think you have a strong hold on the essence of how things were. Keep up the good work! Will be waiting for the next!
Great interview with spe and Aaron! Yall did a great job of letting the interviewes talk more and letting the discussion breath. I also enjoyed the front part even though I saw the video chat of each album of underoath, great recap to go into the interview.
Cove has been and always will be my biggest idol. He's shaped the person I've become on so many levels. Saosin is my favorite band ever and I love the Anthony Green era so much but Cove is my favorite vocalist of all time hands down and the the best dude ever.
The first song they ever wrote together was three cheers for five years…. My mind is blown, that song is so fucking incredible and they just wrote it the first time ever working together.
A Lesson In Romantics is such a timeless record. Love what you guys are doing with this podcast. I would love to see episodes for these records.. Riot! - Paramore The Upsides - The Wonder Years Under Soil and Dirt - The Story So Far Listen and Forgive - Transit All Killer No Filler - Sum 41
Dude is super cool. I’ve been into Saosin since before Cove was in the band and only seen them once back in the day. But I like the Cove records better than the Green ones. I wish the band weren’t so tight lipped about what happened. To me it came off douchy how they handled it. I hope Cove continues to find success
Everything that Morgan has referred to about this album is 100% how I feel about it. It was released my senior year in high school and is and will always be my favorite album of all time.
To quote the band themselves "We only do it for the scars and stories. Not the fame." Pete had a vision for the band, yes. Did he WANT to get famous? I don't believe so
I saw saves the day at the crescent ball room in Phoenix like summer 2018 ish and Chris wore a trapper hat and sunglasses and stayed in one spot the entire show. It was epic.
Awesome podcast with Jordan. I was fortunate enough to be able to see NFG play Sticks And Stones live @ breakfest 3 definitely a show I will never forget 🤘🍔
Just discovered this show. I listened to your sticks and stones podcast right before this and then instantly came to this one. Absolutely loving this show so far! You guys absolutely sold me when you spoke about Midtown, cause I was also thinking they had a very similar to vibe to this album. (Absolutely great btw, them along with fob are in my top 10 bands) but yeah, great stuff and I can’t wait to check out more 👍
Don't even listen that much to New Found Glory (definitely will now) just love to hear all those cool stories about music. Greetings from Brazil, hope you guys keep up the great work!
