Great adventure! Really great camerawork! And the location is amazing! Thumbs up! ~I’m so happy to be able to ride with an RC car in beautiful nature!~
@RCplamodel Thanks man! I love hiking and nature also, and I'm very grateful for all these wonderful toys to bring along with me and to have such an amazing place practically in my backyard ❤️ 😃 👊
Love how the tires conform to the rocks, this is my passion. I love it, love watching how my suspension works and operates super cool. This is the beauty of this awesome Hobby sure appreciate the video.👍👍😎
@andyrichey1192 a big passion of mine as well, sir.. jconcept tusks (on backwards) with 3brothers anti-foams and tuning rods. They work great, my friend 👍
@andyrichey1192 my friend, is a rc bada$$, as you'll see in my next video 😆 and he printed it for me. I'll ask, but probably, thingiverse. If not, then I'll update this comment for ya when I ask. 👊 ✌️
@andyrichey1192 I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment and can't thank you enough 💯 🙏 have a great week, and new video will be up soon! 👊
@Proscalecrawler it's the only good thing I could use off the redcat! Lol, all jokes aside, the redcat shocks are great. Thanks for your comment brother 🙏 👍 👊
@Proscalecrawler I run the rear in half droop and had the shocks layed down farther than I liked, so I put them in to help, but they really did not! Now it's back to where I usually run them in the rear and left the springs in so we'll see, but as of now, indecisive 🙃
Notice how when the truck is at an incline the front teeders, lifts up and flops to one side. Thats from the rear shocks being leaned forward to far.. There is a sweet spot that works great. It's about half way, about a 47° angle.. Hope that tricks helps also. I spent a lot of time testing this. Trailing I lean them right down. Crawling, not so much, about 47° lean
Im not sure if you know this trick, but your able to lean out those rear shocks to the end of the axle shock mounts. So the shocks are in a like this Left / and Right \ It makes it more stable, works great and looks great to. I cut some carbon arrows to make spacers for the original space now left from moving the shocks to the outer side. Hope that helps this truck even more. Thanks for the video.
@archerash6695 Thanks a bunch, and I so appreciate the tips, friend. So you mean use half the mount instead so it would connect by using a screw and nut and be half strength? I'm down to try anything. When I put my HD (Harley Designs) bed on, I wanted the shock going through one of the mount holes and it works but yes your so correct it's layed down too far and killing performance 😔 Thank you so much for pointing that out. 💯 👊 🙏
WOW! I am looking to invest in a truck to play with in my Midwest woods. Your trucks look like they may be just what I want. I have only had cheap r.v. cars and planes. Do you have any suggestions for me to upgrade to?
@PeaceAndWheelies the Beluga is $160 on Ali-express and is a fantastic deal that doesn't break the bank. If you want durability and reliability, then a traxxas trx4 can't be matched honestly. Then you have Vanquish, which is another company you really can't go wrong with either. The phoenix, in my honest opinion, is the most durable with Vanquishs line of cars. Huge options, buddy, and if you need help, let me know. I got ya! 👊 the last 2 rcs will cost you around 5-6 hundred.
@mikedubree2064 not made for kids brother, but yes, I was thinking of changing up soon! You can't control what's said on the trail, and nothing is ever really bad, or it wouldn't be posted. Thanks for your feedback 😀 👍 Have a great weekend 💯 👊
Thanks! It was pretty cool. I have more footage I didn't post of another spot at that location that was very cool. We didn't check out the other side of that big hill like I said, but maybe next time. 1hr drive from me if that gives ya an idea time wise if thinking of checking it out. 👊
Maybe one of these days I’ll make it down there. I’ve got a good bit of test and tune stuff to do here this weekend, and the best place for that is the home course since that’s my baseline for everything. Gonna have to get ya out here at some point to run some of the hard lines in The Pit as well.
@BIGALSCRAWLERS This place is amazing for crawlers. I have a few great locations all within 20min from me and checking a new spot tomorrow, so fingers 🤞
@letsgetitrc bro I'm the same I've got a hand full of spots like in my last few videos 5 mins drive from my house, I don't know y I didn't get into crawling a long time ago lol
Nice! Definitely should’ve started on the other side when I got there, I would’ve crossed paths with yall a lot sooner. Looks like some killer lines that I haven’t run across yet.
@drz_rc Yes, sir! We need to exchange numbers next time I see you. I'm always finding new lines, and that is the beautiful thing about the quarry. Catch ya soon brother just message me on here until then. ✌️ 👊
