I love the music and the songs, but he’s a complete f*cking prick. You missed the suit against Mojo Nixon for the song “Don Henley Must Die” Maybe that’s for part 3?
I was at the concert in Hamburg, and - except for the 25 minute delay and the vague information that there was a medical situation - I did not realise at all that actual a member of the band did hurt himself, there was no mention of it during the show. This is really great commitement from Chuck Garric
I cannot understand why all the anger. Henley should be rejoicing and reflecting on his career. All the negativity must be eating him up inside. Terrible existence in my opinion.
Leonard Cohen was in a Buddhist Monastery in Nepal. When he returned, he lit only had missed the rise in popularity of Hallelujah, but also had his whole estate pilfered away by his manager who pulled the rug from under his while he was away getting well again. That's why he released the album "The Future", to make money just to get by and eventually pay legal fees for lawsuits etc
Phil Spector was notorious for being a very possessive control freak who often dictated to the artists and it's a good chance the reason Leonard never called John back for 8 years was because Spector wouldn't let him. Spector was a mad man. He would keep a shotgun in his dashboard. I actually really liked the album "Death of a Ladies man" even though I didn't like Phil Spector. Hallelujah was from the album "Various Positions", another good album in my opinion, ywt often criticized by fans.
This video did him honor and I TY! I knew them. He was my friend and first hard crush. The first place I drove at night anywhere when I got my license was the Starwood. Anyway I'm not here to tell stories about ppl ( BTW, Rudy is awesome!) or gossip, name-drop. Our paths crossed in many ways over the years. I believe the Realms✝️ are only separated by frequency. Music IS frequency. I'll love him forever 💔
Who killed Elvis Presley? The answer is “no one“. Elvis Presley is alive. This man, Bob Joyce played at Lisa Marie’s “funeral.“ ru-vid.comPgn3iMksRH0?si=9HdOi-u0xipYfG-8
My first rock concert was Cooper at Tennessee State Fair in '81. At racetrack at Nashville fairgrounds they destroyed, like 90% of Old Nashville.😅 My sister took me. I was 10. Saw him again in '86 at Municipal Auditorium, his first return after sobriety, & was his best tour/setlist ever imo. Then saw him when he went full cheeze a year later in '87 & have been done ever since.😅 Think he has a house here in New Nashville? A friend of mine saw him & chatted with him & his wife on West End several months ago. Didn't hear about finger. Should be interesting? Rock On, neighbor! 🤘🌎❤️
If written by Connor, I don't believe Eric Clapton meant in his song that he literally thought they wouldn't know one another. I believe he meant it wasn't his time. As much as he probably wanted to be with Connor, he knew it wasn't possible. My own dear mother, had 9 children. Her oldest daughter died age 27. When my mom got a terminal diagnosis of cancer, after my sister had been gone 30 years, my mother said to me, " I can go be with Judi now." I knew I would feel the same in her position. That Eric Clapton may have wished to be with his son in heaven, he knew it wasn't in Gods plan. Just an unthinkable tradgity. God bless Connor and his family. God Bless Eric Clapton for writing such a beautiful song!
I would like to comment on Don Henley and his propensity for carrying on lawsuits but I'm afraid of being sued. Being a 71-year-old Kentucky redneck, I can't afford to be sued by the Henley machine so I'll just be quiet and be a good deplorable. Thank you for everything you have shared with us. My 83-year-old wife and I have been Eagles fans forever, even going so far as to watch RU-vid videos regularly to obtain our Eagles fix. Just wanted you to know that you are appreciated.
Courtney Love was not, and is not, much of a musician. One of the things that made her jealous (and she has displayed raging jealousy on several occasions) of Kristen Pfaff was that Kristen was a classically trained musician, who seemed to be taking over. Also, the woman with black hair pictured with Kurt is not Kristen. Courtney has never sued Tom Grant because she will have to go under oath in a deposition. She is just going to stall until he dies. He has said that he would love for her to sue him. I don't know if you stated this plainly, but Courtney did briefly mention in one of Tom Grant's recorded phone conversations that money would become a problem for her if the divorce went through.
Too many theories. Kurt was a troubled guy, with a horrible drug addiction and very depressed. We need to accept that famous people take their own lives
Don Henley is not "The Eagles" he was just a band member, a piece of the whole. I know he and Glenn thought they were the group, but it simply wasn't so. So don't go tarring all of The Eagles with the same brush. As a long time Eagles fan, the band consisted of some very talented artists in Randy Meisner, Timothy B Schmidt, Don Felder, Joe Walsh (and others), each of which contributed a huge amount into what "The Eagles" were. Just because they weren't ego maniacs trying to grandstand and be "the leaders" of the band doesn't make their contributions any less valid or important, or the band as a whole any less because of the actions of a couple rotten apples in the barrel.
Henley lip-syncs all his songs in live concerts now. Don lost his voice years ago. That guy on the Pegasus channel proved it. He also shows how most vocals are routed through auto-tune.
... Hello, I am french so sorry about my bad english ... One or two things you can join to the life of Dolores, when this "plane scandal" took place, she belt to the poeple " you can't touch me I am a Star" ! And one other thing about her health, very fast she had strong back pains, and that during 2/3 of her whole band life, and she took a lot of heavy painkillers (fentanyl ?) ... This + binge drinking and taking a hot bath = drowning for sure ... Many things were said ... but it was a drowning first, not an OD of alcohol and painkillers ...(Yes she had all this stuff in her blood). I know what it is, binge drinking + painkillers (or other stuff), I was always cool (and I am, but no more often sadly, I am bi-polar too , it's not a joke ^^ ) ... c'est la vie, c'est la mort ... While I am writting this I am listening "Ordinary Day" (look after the lyrics please) ... Me since the 15/01/2018 I am mourning Dolores, and this will be until my death (I am 68) ... Dolores the greatest moving voice I've ever heard ...
It's hard to say but I don't think it would hurt to reopen the case. For one the suicide letter up until the end doesn't sound like a suicide letter at all. Now take what I'm saying with the grain because I am not a psychologist that it's just an opinion. However, with that said I have a right to an opinion like everyone else. The other thing that's weird is that the alarm system wasn't working so that could open the door for potential intruders. Being that he had so much money it seems like they would at least do a more detailed investigation knowing that it could be a motive to kill him. Beyond Kurt being a celebrity he wasn't just some junkie. He was a man with a daughter. If there is a chance that it's not just a suicide then it would be worth it to review the evidence again.
