Product Reviews & Guides - Computer hardware I have been testing, working with PC hardware for 23 years and I had begun to put my knowledge in the form of video reviews.
Somethink is wrong with CP2077 on i5 or this is the power of max settings and standard windows. I manage to make it run decently (~40fps) on i3 8100 with gtx1650 super and custome windows 10, so 6-core in i5 8400 should be much better.... But I quess this is max settings, where my were not.
12100f is better option here, it can be upgraded all the way up to 14900k. With R5 3600 you can only go upto 5950X which is like 22% slower than 14900K (Passmark).
Hey, check this as well, again how was the overclock of this 4060? I can't stop wondering if you undervolted it, it seems you did because the power consumption never goes beyond 120W in your videos.
How significant(%) will it be if I upgrade my 2x8gb(Cl19, 2666Mhz) to 2x16gb(CL16, 3600Mhz). Using R5 5600x and 4070super on MSI X570 tomahawk max wifi, 650Watts psu. I upgraded 1080 ti to 4070 super (I did DDU, nvidia driver update, bios update etc...) when playing bfV saw increase from ~70fps to ~85fps on ultra (DX11, Frame rendering on) did try dx12 with dlss but bad stuttering. when playing helldivers 2 saw increase from ~55fps to ~60fps regardless of setting , using optimized setting by BenchmarKing, cpu 80-95%, gpu 50-60%. when playing god of war saw increase from ~70fps to ~90fps regardless of setting. cpu 80-90%, gpu only ~50%. only used 4070s when playing ghost of tsushima, dlaa and FG saw fps around 120-130, no stuttering. FG off and DLAA gives me 85fps. cpu ~20%, gpu ~95%
Would you please describe how was the overclock you did? Like how much + you put on the Core Frenquency and Memory Frequency (seems that you increased by 1500 here) and if you increased the power limit? Did you undervolt the 4060 when overcloing? I would really appreciate if you could provide that to me, I only have a 4060 for now and wanted to match 4060 Ti to play Hellblade 2 you showcased at the end :)
4060 Ti easily with NVIDIA FG, unfortunately AMD FG won't be at same level until it got hardware support. And it'll happen when FSR 4.0, probably supported by RX 7000/8000 series only due to AI cores. 3070 is long gone. If you want brand new? Get 4060 Ti. If you want used? Get RX 6800.
hmmmmmmm this is when you update intel microcode fix right? kinda want to see what difference it''ll make and noted that win11 23H2 kinda messed up amd so no clue what window u using
and it kinda makes sense, I mean 1080p is an exaggeration but they're clearly not for 4k gaming. The games in this video are either "light" games or old games without rt. Yeah I know that rdr2 is still a great game but it's a 2018 game that could run at 30-40fps on an xbox one (even at a rather high resolution on the one X). Recomendation also means that games probably run at high/ultra settings at 60fps.
Its hard to install tbh but what i did is i did not screw the studs all the way in to relive pressure on mother board after i was able to hook the cooler to the bracket that when i tighten up the screws and its says that its AM4 compatible but it dose not come with a bracket i had to buy them separately lol
