This is very weird. First of all this is the first video of yours I have seen. I filled my y62 up today and randomly took a photo. I’m not kidding, the price for 98 here in Sunnybank Brisbane was 186.9 and i also filled up to $186!!!!! This blew me away I had to show my wife 😅😅😅😅 so weird
Hmm, thats actually very close to what i get, going to or from Adelaide to Cairns going through Eromanga etc in my LX470. All loaded up with gear plus bullbar, lights etc etc. no roofrack! 13.5 to 15.5 depending on headwind on the flats, that can be horrendous sometimes.
I dont know why but, i get approx 22l/100km or 4.5km/l which i seem is ridiculous. Its a 2013 y62 v8 320hp with a 5 speed transmission. Its a great drive, i only wish i could get better mileage.
Just started watching your video and think it is perfect as I have a Superior classic tourer as well. Just wanted to know what make your washing machine is and was it easy to install?
Nice work we went petrol over diesel and got a new y62 til last year 2022 All Factory not towing just a 4” exhaust and throttle controller we are getting 11.5km / litre 3 of us and gear
Brilliant guys xxoo went there a couple of years or so ago and didn’t get past the info centre too far. We camped just off the highway not knowing there was a caravan park 5 mins away. 😩actually enjoy the background music, i think it adds to the drama and beauty of the scenery. It calms downs when you’re talking. Loving what I’m seeing.
To all you guys going through this be safe, don't take unnecessary risk's, Possessions can always be replaced but you can never replace a Family member. If your unsure about a crossing or aren't 100% certain on a situation Don't Risk it. @@FoxtailAdventure Several people commenting here seem to approve of adding extraneous noise to the videos they watch. Personally I find the "m" key the most useful feature on my computer. This satisfies all types of viewer. Except of course for those videos where the poster tries to also add voice-overs to the noise track. Auto-generated subtitles have some way to go yet.
We have an Infinity QX 80 with the 5.6l V8. Hiway gets 11-12l/100km (low 20-21 mpg). But in town it get about 30l/100km (8 mpg). Great millage on the long trips for a full size, but among the worst when in town. For comparison, I have had Sequioa, Chev, Ford, and Dodge full-size trucks with all varieties of engines in them. Best for mileage are the small diesels, and the Chev/GM 5.7l v8. Ecoboost can also be very good provided you never tow or run it hard.
