I think Su-Yeong's dislike of Kwon was too much before to suddenly flip like this. Or maybe I'm just being prejudicial because I just REALLY don't like his character.
This show is just too good!!! I'm really hoping that they have one of their intense arguments and one of them just snaps and kisses the other hahaha, and YES, they are just perfect for each other
thank you for this. we are finally getting to see there is more than one side to the supporting cast. each of us has more going on in our lives than we allow others to see. the writer has chosen to selectively reveal this to us. we often refer to characters as having a redemptive arc, and while it is true some people change completely. More often the good in them is revealed to us, either through trust or even a moment of vunerability. have a great week
Hot take, I think Kwon gets far more hate than he deserves (he deserves some for a couple scummy actions). He's the sole money maker in his family, and is in competition with Woo and Choi (people seem to forget that they're essentially competing for contract renewals, which were established to not be abundant at their firm IIRC) so he's desperate to be renewed. He is the only character that immediately, without discrimination, recognizes how formidable Woo is while repeatedly seeing coworkers/superiors give her advantages (many of which could be argued to be unfair). I do think the Choi/Kwon thing was a bit out of nowhere though, we didn't really see anything to indicate them having any romantic interest in each other before.
Attorney Jung's appearance in full summer holiday togs is possibly the funniest moment in the whole series. It's completely out of character! ...and then a second or two later you remember why. :(
