Seems like nobody in the comments even knows what the purpose of hood pins are. They're used on race cars - when you remove all that stock hood latch hardware and you don't want your hood to fly up. Also, they're used for quickly removing the entire hood to access the motor. Putting them on street queens is gay.
I got a mid steering shaft from dormen solutions that was pinned 180 out so it had to be broken down and reassembled correctly before install. Parts are bad anymore. Like nobody wanna do a job right? Car manufacturers letting vehicles go with no head gaskets and shit as well..
I just redid an entire too end on a older regal supercharged 3800. The intake was leaking everywhere. Coolant all over everything. Vacuum lines so old and brittle, they would deteriorate just touching them. The wiring harness was very similar. It was a nightmare. But thats the job sometimes.
That is frustrating, just touch something and it falls apart. Thankfully I've had limited experience with that. I always love when you're under a car and the slightest movement and you get a face full of rust. The 3800 reminds me of a car I raced on dirt, Pontiac Grand Am with a 3800, lower intake gasket was leaking. Got it fixed and the first time I raced it I ran 3 laps and got stuck in a drainage ditch inside turn 3. Good times 😅 😅 😅
@@michaelfanning1306 I had a 93 grand am it had the 3300. Very similar to the 3800. Transmission was made of paper mache and glass. I put 3 transmissions in it before I scrapped it.

Water pump leak was worse then i thought in the first half of video once i got under it for a visual inspection. Radiator also had a leak i couldnt see from the top. Customer wasnt just sold work for no reason lol.
I woud have run a far larger supply. Heck, i have a 100 amp service in my barn and have never pulled more than 30 amps. I need the excess just to supply the number and types of outlets I have.
20 amp is really light ac or heat lights tv hot plate microwave. Insulate it well and you could get a way with one space heater or small window unit did you drop a water pipe in the trench while you had it open are you going to have running water and a hot water heater. I have a lot of thought in doing one a live in one now. Bath room in such a small space if not done right sucks. Small place should have an shower house. Anyways good start👍

Did you use actual oil/tranny cooler lines or fuel lines on your truck??? That may be the problem... -EDIT- I'm glad i saw this cause I am about to order a radiator/fan combo from eBay...
