Im a fairly shite new player. Fully spaded mine today, tracers in the MGs, and AP in the cannon, ive never felt so lethal in this game. I love this plane.
The M-51 is honestly pretty broken when used correctly because on its battle rating and even slightly higher battle rating (6.0-7.7 or 8.3) depending on if it's an uptier or down tier this thing is guaranteed to penetrate the armor of every tank from any angle and any distance but the only real issue with it is that it uses one type of ammunition(HEAT). The HEAT round isn't per say bad or good by any means the issue is that it is the only ammo type available besides HE and that the post penetration damage is highly inconsistent from my own experience the amount of shots needed to take out a heavy tank are 1 or 5 depending on the post penetration damage the reason I don't include medium tanks is because the HEAT round is more consistent there with 1 or 2 shots needed to take them out with the only acception being the panther because in the game the panther is pretty much a medium tank In a heavy tanks body. In my opinion it is best to use this tank defensively to snipe people, hold down chokepoints or suppress enemy positions
Some guys like me uses the m51 as a pretty good indirect fire killer bc of the slow speed HEAT, some of the enemies dont even know from where is coming the shot, better if you have the rangefinding skill at max
Did you know, that the main goal in the game is to capture points? Maybe next time use your fast vehicles to do that and win battles. You are playing like a camping coward. Very bad and boring.
Were you dropped on the head as a child? The AMX-10RC definitely isn't the kind of tank you use to rush in at the start of the game. Lack of stabiliser makes brawling almost impossible, its longer than average reload is a massive hindrance, and for a light tank it's rather large, making it much less concealable.
I'm grinding 6.3 usa right now and that's the realest opinion I've heard it's still a good tank (a slow one though) and if you know where to aim the only thing you can't kill in a single shot in this thing is a tiger 2 (you can still capula it) and some soviet heavy tank in an uptier
I mean I love it, but it's shit lol. No acceleration, looses all speed when turning and at it's own BR it faces post war props/turbo props + early jets in uptiers. Great for bombers though. If anyone bothered to play them anymore.
In reality the moment you open fire you are targeted by every enemy machine gun equipped tank and plane. Shooting at one plane is fine but in RB multiple planes will attack you at once which is impossible. Also the sound is so bad you regularly cannot hear the planes at all. Wham, you’re dead without warning. New players need to be aware Gaijin heavily nerfed all SPAA long ago
CAS strafe all these lightly armoured Centurion type tanks endlessly. It becomes pointless to spawn because you ever reach a decent position before being hit by planes guns. They don’t even need bombs. Very, very frustrating & expensive
I came here from nowhere, just discovering this channel with this video. I have to say : map props for the idea of analyzing the tank in RB *AND* AB ! 🙏🙏👍👍 Also, it's funny how « RB people » are scared of AB, while myself I'm shitting in my pants in RB cause I feel every bush around me wants to kill me 😂😂😂
I have to disagree about the neutral steer being mostly miscellaneous: I really helps adjusting your shooting position, which other wheely bois have lots of trouble with. also helping in concealing your direction of retreat when deploying smoke, a "normal" wheeled vehicle would be much more predictable
