I recommend if you have spare small budget lying around, you should buy a lowering arm. You can even adjust the camber! Also if you want a stiff front suspension, get a mono shock. It will work nice!
Not that cheap, affordability at a decent price. You paid way more on Amazon who doesn't carry the model specific upgrades. Why do people shop with them, other than high priced delivery?
Using trx4 portals with the 324mm links and they refuse to align. I think mine is longer than the other and the driveshaft might be a bit long. Maybe I don’t know what I’m doing though 🤣. Either way it’s super frustrating.
Forgive my ignorance. But I have that same setup and motor/esc combo. I haven’t received my scx2 kit yet but how did you fit the motor into the transmission housing?
Great build my friend an I am wanting to build one just like that an if you like it I know that I will also thank you for showing me how an what you did an the way it was to b put together so thank you an keep up the great work an videos
NEED HELP WITH MY D12: I upgraded my D12 to all metal chassis, 370 motor and metal trans and upgraded suspension. If I put any kind of load on the motor, either the radio completely loses its signal to the truck (headlights flash) until I re-bind OR the truck suddenly loses signal until I stop the load w/o making me re-bind It does not do this at all if I have no load on the truck by holding it off the ground. This is real annoying and I'm wondering if I was supposed the remove the capacitor off the old 260 motor and solder it onto the 370? Any ideas why it's doing this? BTW... I'm asking this question on several D12 videos so sorry if you see my question elsewhere. I'll try to remove it when this issue is resolved.
Im not sure about your issue. But since you replaced only the motor and trans it may be an issue between your receiver+esc since its still stock. Might not be compatible to the motor. Try to put back the stock motor and see if working properly if yes then its probably the new motor
Well, the motor and trans are sold as D12 upgrade, so I can't imagine it not working on this platform, but you're right. It will be one of the things I try if I don't find a fix elsewhere. Thanks for your thoughts. @@gnrcfilms
such a nice work and review buddy,. can you explain what is the thing that you've added since it crawl super slow... that's very nice.. i saw it between 540motor and the injora gearbox.. realy need that setup.. thnks
the leaf spring holds the diff in place if you can replace it with like a rod link its possible to remove it and just use the shocks, this is a good idea btw thanks 😁
YES SIIR! That's what I been searching for! I have the Everest 10 and already sunk quiet ALOT in upgrades, new Hobbywing Fusion quickrun SE 1800kv motor, RadioLink RC6GS v3 reverse steering kit ,Shock Keys one SiGP 7.4v 5100 2s 70c lipo, ZEEE 11.1v 5200 3s 80c lipo, SUPULSE B3 V2 10W Lipo charger, 22mm wheel spacers, 70 weight shock oil. I'm wanting to drop my Fusion in this SCX 10 and by the looks of it, it'll fit. But I also wanna install reverse steering it has helped my E10 tremendously when climbing. Is this reverse steering compatible? And did you have to modify anything to get the Fusion to fit? Great video my man.
Sorry but I'm not really familiar with the reverse steering 😅 but for fitting the Fusion SE, Yes I had to rotate the servo mount/bumper mount to have little bit of space to fit the motor
That is so cool! I have a Everest 10 and I have already spent around 300 in upgrades. I really want this kit but I need to know if it comes with reverse steering option. Also need to know if a Hobbywing Fusion quickrun SE will fit in this.
Even though you uploaded this video 1 year ago, I still find myself coming back to watching it. It's amazing how you can do so much with the lcg chassis and really with any rc in general, which is what makes the rc hobby great. You can express you're imagination through you're builds. Nothing's better than watching you're build come to life. We all may have RC cars of different shapes and sizes, but at the end of the day, we're all rc enthusiasts. I have yet to test out the capability of my crawler with the lcg chassis I got for it some time ago. I got it from injora rc as well. It's a great platform nonetheless. Great video by the way 👍.
@@gnrcfilms I was thinking about getting some portal axles too, but my brother ended up giving me his axial ar60 axles so I could finish my lcg crawler build. It turned out great nonetheless.
Nice! review of internals & gearbox! 👍 i'm glad there was no negatives about this ally/metal replacement gearbox! Having just taken apart my original (plastic- ABS?) gearbox & cleaned it up ready for a full install of new bearings & marine grease. I am very tempeted to get this metal version, & replace the bearings with the bearings in the kit i bought for the plastic one, & then properly marine grease it up! The bearings from this matal one can go into the plastic one! Spare gearbox on hand just in case! :)
So i purchased the same parts as you have for this build. the front axle does not align with the transmission output for the driveshaft to clear the motor mount. you can see in the vid that your front axle is off to one side to help with that but it isn't right. I'm not in the process of grinding the motor mount plate and trans mount to get the drive line clear. very cool build but im wondering if you ran into the same issues as im having with this chassis/axle combo.
@@-tni_vietkvminh1249 I use some shock tower mounts from aliexpress and the shocks I used is 90mm. Here is the video ; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fU0TMv4vKyU.htmlsi=rCeKdi76gVDrbwTE
What is the width from wheel to wheel? I want to buy that chassis and use those tires to put an Injora Comanche body on it, I think that with that body and those 1.5 tires it could look more realistic, can you help me give me specifications of this car
Thanks for watching! Yes 1.55" wheel is perfect for scale build. Width is 215mm plus depends on the rims and tires you are going to use. In the video the tires is 90mm*25mm so probably the width is plus or minus 220mm with that tires. Of course you can buy narrower tires.
