One thing I've noticed is how grapplers have never been high tier characters consistently, despite their high damage unblockable moves requiring 360s. Probably because the game developers go 'hey, you know this game's main combo mechanic? Well the grapplers won't use it at all, because that might make them too powerful'.
I play Q. Remy is better than Q. Remy is bad but Q is like the worst in this game and nobody wants to admit it because he has some gimmicks but no tools, pokes...
I love your videos man, you've told me so many fighting game stories I would have never heard otherwise, and nobody does it like you. You have a chill vibe, you're a good storyteller, and I'm happy to watch every video you release :D
Man ... Cubano Loco's Vega is really something to see. M not that into fighting games compared to a couple years back, but I can appreciate a graceful character being performed by a graceful player. Even if he lost, he still put on a good show with that spacing
Alex is ass. Though when asked. Kuroda said that Alex is the best character in the game. But even with God level skill. He couldn't and never had success with Alex at top level. Dudley is basically the same character but with better options.
Funny irony is the picture used in the thumbnail was when he was considered a high tier character. Iirc in both versions of TVC Alex was on the too tier or the very close to being top tier.
as a ALEX main since 3rd strike i salute this man, SFV near the end also gave me hope cause Alex was pretty decent compared to what he was since SF3, but hopefully capcom bring him back and mika before SF6 ends
alex is not a terrible character. matter of fact; i forgot how good he actually is. back in the day ; i had no issue winning except for when a particular regular would play as Alex . he tore me to shreds.
