Yes. And on the other end, you also need to get it bone dry for storage, or else you'll have to recondition it w bleach water (not vinegar) to get rid of accumulated biofilm. Pre-dry for storage, pre-wet for usage.
I have the 12' Journey with linelocs and just ordered the 12' Quest with D-rings. After using the linelocs, I learned that I prefer using shock cord on the anchor points with linelocs attached to the shockcord. It gives tension with a little bit of flex. I also love the center anchor point on the Journey for a single pole porch mode and was able to order the Quest the same way. Hammock Gear makes some pretty decent gear and the customer service and prices are great!
Very informative video! Thanks for the info on the Garmin watch adapter. What I started carrying is an Apple Magnetic phone charger. It was a must on the Colorado Trail. It’ll allow you to charge your phone even if your phone’s regular charging port gets water which I had happen on the Eagle Rock Loop once. I couldn’t charge my phone two days.
