Why are you not allowed to look at your picks? This feels like it creates a memory game on top of the draft. Is that intentional, or is there some other reason?
Great video! Thank you! I have a question, at 21:22 why Ben didn't attack with the 6 Aether Ashwing as the previous card has go again? Thank you in advance for your answer :)
In this you said that the cold foils are put aside, does that include rainbow foils? And does the person who opens their booster get to keeps those? This draft format looks fun but a big part of Flesh and Blood is collecting rare cards, it would be sad to open a booster for a very rare and valuable card and then have to hand it to someone else.
Surprised by how few views these videos have, I'm enjoying them alot. Though I suppose UPF is a pretty niche and unknown format. I can see it seriously taking off over time when we have more multiplayer cards.
Looking to start playing. So when you say you take the foil out when opening the pack, does the player who opened that pack get to keep the foil? Also does it matter if its a foil from unlimited or first edition?
Great question! Since Uprising the cold foil takes the place of a token, so yes you remove it and keep it if you’re lucky enough to pull one when you open the pack. (can’t play it in the draft though.) - the tokens (and hence the CF) are removed from the pack before you pick so you won’t have a card missing for the draft. For older sets with separate 1st Ed and unlimited, the RF/CF are part of the main set of cards so you’d pick them as part of your normal draft.
I love the new look and UI! Is it possible to have an option for the cards on the combat chain to all be shown? I tend to find it hard to process the combat chain when I play on Talishar
