I remember Andy has a little kid on Saturday night live in the 70s. And I remember him wrestling and all the commercials taunting the South. It's a really lucky people are the ones who got to see him.
Literally the only funny part was when he had the lady come onstage and kick tony Clifton's ass. This man was way overrated. Anyone can get on stage and talk nonsense. Hackiest of all hacks. If he really faked his death he did the comedy world a service
Wow I just saw so much of Adam Sandler and Steve Carrell voices and characters they’ve done in this act!! Wild how much he influenced comedians I grew up loving.
At 4:15 it looks like there's a difference from the published versions (at least that I find online): he includes the Book of the Dead, which isn't in the published version.
The fact that he even trolled us about his death makes Andy Kaufam an ABSOLUTELY GENIUS. Ahead of 50 years for me! Today , just by scrolling on any social platform you can recognize Andy Kaufman spirit in all the nonsense going around. R.I.P. man ... And if you are not, u deserve a noble prize.
I highly recommended the book written by his partner Bob Zmuda, who was Andy’s best friend and in on everything with him. It’s called Andy Kaufman Revealed. Behind the scenes on everything and lots of really interesting and surprising material about what Andy was really like and how he came up with his brilliant unique ideas for his comedy.
