As an environmental geologist who worked in the high desert for the past 3 years outside daily it was impossible for me to find a good moisturizer. I got this and after a few weeks I was finally healed from having constant dry and dead skin. Thank God for this product.
Cristina, I believed before that lifting creams are must haves for 40+. How do you think, can this Kiehl’s be used instead of the lifting cream and, do lifting creams give really that lifting effect as they are named? I guess, if I give my skin the proper cleansing with the foam and hydration with this cream, it could be enough to stay looking fresher and younger?
It might be a bit heavy for oily skin, there is a lotion version of this CeraVe cream which is lighter and might be better. They have the CeraVe Cream which is the one I am using in this video and they have the CeraVe Lotion this on is lighter, I would say try the lotion instead of the cream.
Too bad doesn’t last to get you all excited and then you go home when they peel and then you have to go back again and they say all the people gonna last longer next time barely does. The color never last! Plus, you can tell she wasn’t going deep enough. I’m in there like no bladder or anything or no redness and you weren’t even flinching at all and I’m sorry when you get your brows done freaking hurts if you get it done the right way, even with numbing cream, you have to see some redness or little bit of blood sometimes then you know the ink going in there!!!
I feel like everyone’s powder brows completely flake off around day 7 and it’s day 13 for me and mine are still flaking 😅mine didn’t initially start until day 9.
Everyone’s experience is different, I wasn’t as good at making sure they don’t get wet when I washed my hair during the healing process and I feel like that maybe the pigment didn’t take as well because of that. Is this your initial session or your touchup?
@@thecristinamaria this is my initial. I feel like the color is practically gone too.. (Which maybe that’s normal?) I was good about not getting my eyebrows wet in the shower but my brow care consisted of damping a cotton pad with water, lightly wipe my brow, and then take a dry cotton pad and tap it dry. Do that twice a day. No ointment or anything.
Thank you. For me I found that it wasn’t consistent in how it wore throughout the day, but thank you so much for sharing and for your sweet comment. ❤️🥰
Since it is a stabilised vitamin C you actually don't need opaque packaging. This however also means that it likely does not have the same benefits as true vitamin C besides being an antioxidant
I was really hoping this one would work out for me! but for some reason it just smelled like movie theatre popcorn to me, no vanilla or coconut. Do you know of any vanilla perfume oils that might smell like pure vanilla?
I discovered your video a bit late, but I was super happy to see that you uploaded a new video when I went to your channel to check for new videos. I loved that little product review! I want to try the new Sol de Janeiro Beijos de Sol Perfume Mist! A mist is so lovely, especially during springtime and summer! It's easy to just put in your bag and freshen up during the day. 🤩🥰❤ Also, you have such a fantastic bone structure! Those cheekbones! 😍😍

Yes, I used it with my vitamin C serum as part of my morning routine. I started by rinsing my face with water, then once my skin was dry I applied the vitamin C serum, then applied this moisturizer, and for the last step I applied sunscreen. Let me know if this helps. 🥰

I love Dr. Dennis Gross products, I love Nars and Sol de Janeiro as well. Not really a fan of Kosas or tarte though. Great haul thank you so much for sharing. I hope you have a wonderful week pretty lady.
It is gentle enough that it could work for teenagers with acne, but I would still recommend doing a patch test on the skin to make sure that there are no irritations or issues with it.
Girl I feel ya on perimenopause I think I'm actually in full blown menopause. I have a doctor appointment next week to determine if that's the case or something else.
I hope everything goes well at the doctor appointment. ❤️ Our bodies start to go through so many changes in our 40s and there are so many new symptoms that it can feel really overwhelming. And the information out there about this topic is not that much and no one really prepares us for it. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
I think I am in perimenopause, too. 🫣I'm 44, and I am just starting to learn about both perimenopause and menopause. I kinda got a feeling that I am in some perimenopause situation. It's mindblowing how little I knew about it - it was never talked about in school, nor has any of the doctors or gynecologists I've been to ever mentioned it to me. I am not sure, though, since there are so many overlapping (?) symptoms of depression and anxiety, etc. It might 'just' be that, or it might be perimenopause or a combination. After all, humans are complex. Our bodies are complex, and life is complex. ❤I love how you are open about it, and I really love that some doctors now (I just saw a doctor on RU-vid talk about it, and it was so interesting!) are more open and interested in the topic. After all, it is an essential part of being a woman. 👩🏼❤🌼
Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️ I completely agree, the available information out there about this topic is minimal and no one I know really talked about it as I was growing up. It was almost like something women went through quietly. It should really be something that we start to learn about in school. I am glad that women are becoming more comfortable discussing it and sharing their experiences. I also agree with you that our bodies are complex and with all the similarities between the symptoms it is hard to determine if in fact it is perimenopause or stress, or anxiety or something else. I want to learn as much as I can about it and of course I will share whatever I learn. I think as women we should normalize talking about these topics and share our experiences because it is a natural part of aging. 🤗🥰
Just checked on the Sephora website and it actually went up a bit, it is now $27CAD for the 15ml and $65CAD for the 50ml. The prices in Canada are usually higher than in the US.
They are both amazing it just depends, if you have oily skin I would recommend the Kiehl’s it is a bit more lightweight than the CeraVe cream. But if you have normal to dry skin they are both great options it just comes down to how much you want to spend. I will say if you have REALLY dry skin I would opt for the CeraVe cream.
I totally relate to your hair habits. I also tried the whole “weekly treatment” thing and it just sounded like work rather than something to do to relax, haha. Moroccan Oil is such a nice line. I am also an every 2-3 day washer or I get a lot of flakes and my scalp gets so itchy! It’s very annoying. Oribe’s Shampoo and Conditioner for Colour is my favourite. I always hate when I have to repurchase it but I’m now hesitant to try anything else. Your hair looks beautiful :) Love your videos! ❤
Thank you so much! 🥰 I have only tried one product from Oribe and it was the texturizing hair spray and it was amazing! I am really intrigued by their shampoo and conditioner since you spoke so highly of them. I think once I am done the Moroccanoil conditioner and purple shampoo I will give the Oribe ones a try. Thank you so much for the recommendation! ❤️
Thank you so much!! 🥰❤️ I haven’t tried their hair oil yet or mask but once I’m done the Olaplex treatment and oil I will try the ones from Moroccanoil. So far from the products that I have tried from them I am really impressed.
It is the Supergoop (Re)setting 100% Mineral powder spf 35. www.sephora.com/ca/en/product/re-setting-100-37-mineral-powder-spf-35-translucent-P502425?country_switch=ca&lang=en
I would say maybe try the lotion version of this, I think the cream would be too heavy. CeraVe also has the Ultra-Light Moisturizing Gel which is supposed to be amazing especially for oily acne prone skin. I hope this helps.
