"forget the fire, it's not important." And "nooooo! It's made it worse!!" Are commonly heard when watching top gear. It's one of the reasons I am so fond of it!
Jeremy: "In other news, WE'VE WON AN AWARD! ... Yes, yes. _'Best Original Unscripted Television Programme',_ THAT'S US." Hammond: "Was it a nice ceremony, then?" J: "Dunno, I didn't show up. I was too busy writing this* episode."
Will never complain about the Grand Tour, it was great that we got an extra 8 years of adventures. But it never truly recaptured this spirit of juvenile fun and silliness. They were always like 3 schoolboys being naughty behind the teacher's back (the BBC) This clip is the essense of what made Top Gear great and made them such a loved trio.
I love how different British humor is from American humor. It feels like watching future English speakers coming up with jokes that are totally foreign yet still familiar
The best clip is still hammond talking about the new range rover looks at jeremy says " I have a range rover. I love it. Do youhave one? Jeremy says "i do have a range rover." He then turns to James " Do you have a range rover?" James says "yep." Then he asks them both in turn "Does yours work?" "No..." Says james "Nope" says jeremy and hammond slumps his head "Mine neither..."
I laughed so much I almost lost my breath over the whole Nigel Mansell thing, they completely fell in love with that wax figure, specially Hammond and Clarkson after stealing him😂😂😂
