What a brilliant film,it was a rollercoaster of emotion and we forget how low we went, but how high we have risen again..the music was sublime, congratulations to whoever put that on the film..one last thing...bring Jack home...UTV
I saw Van Halen in 1984 at the US festival. Saw them with Sammy in Wichita in 1993. I enjoyed the hell out of both concerts. 2 different Van Halen was a real treat to me.
Anybody notice the DLR mistake starting at 13:54 during the full bug? Was an actual mistake , not like the on purpose one like in Romeo Delight . Check it out …
Great concert at the Vic Theater I was there with my girlfriend had a great time! Also saw him solo in 94’ at To To’s in Schaumburg, IL.....even smaller venue, still was cool to see Vince up close! 👍
their prime David Lee Roth's screams for gods sake nothing could compare to the Real Van Halen EVH. best guitarist ever, love the original. and Michael Anthony on Bass, his solo guy was incredible , the original four fit like hand in glove.
The "mighty Van Halen" at their greatest!! Saw them first in '78 opening for Sabbath.better times back then ,no cameras, cellphones ,internet just enjoying the show....RIP - EVH
Not thrilled with the set list from this show. Unchained should always open the show. Understandably everyone listening to Eddie but holy shit those bass lines by Michael Anthony and they'd be screwed without his vocals because Dave is godawful lol
30 song setlist practically .and a couple songs they normally didn't play live ."Little Dreamer" ZZ Top cover Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers .(never seen them play that live at any other tour) even a Cream cover .like 8 covers in all (a bit much IMO)
I wish I could back to those times again. Eddy knew that he was ahead of time in 1983, when you heard those strange sounds and noises from the Michael Anthony bass you could think THE FUTURE IS NOW. At that time when I listened to the whole album I said “why is called 1984, we are still in 1983”. That’s meant a lot to the world. That was a call.Nobody could try to clone those sounds or even close at that time. 1984 song could be a little bit more longer.
