Good information, thanks ! I'd rinse the clean head in IPA instead of H20 to displace and water in and around the PCB and also speed the drying process
Worked perfectly for me! Black, cyan, and yellow wouldn't work despite 2 deep cleans. I made 130ml of the solution , poured it over the hole areas on top with a paper towel on the bottom, and let it soak for a few hours. After that I let it dry on a paper towel. Thank you so much!
Hello. I tried your solution and indeed I can print but the print alignment is completely out, so my printed page is unreadable. I did get a message on the display that warned this might be the case. Any suggestions?
after taking the mouse apart as the contacts look clean it still didn't work. But what did work was just rolling the batteries endlessly in the on position and eventually the little green light popped on, so I guess that contacts were dirty, or something. Thanks for the video, learnt something.
I replaced my battery and it still didn't work. I was ready to buy a new remote when I watched your video. Duh, the battery was in backwards. Thank you!
I took mine apart, had to break the plastic bar holding the ribbon folding. The ribbon was really tricky to get back, but I eventually managed to tuck it in by rubbing it in with my thumb while the ribbon was almost straightened. Put it back, changed batteries, everything else worked but horizontal tracking. Opened it again and removed some of the glue that was rolled into bumps and put it back together. Now everything works! <3 Thank you! I fixed my Magic Mouse with these instructions. I had carried it in my backbag for quite some while and one day it fell on the floor and broke so that only tracking and left click would reliably, but no scrolling or right click except by random on it’s own so the mouse felt like possessed... I had to disable every gesture but left click so I could somehow use it.
I was heavily debating between this and the Epson ET-8550. While the Canon not only costs less but should theoretically provide higher photo quality than the Epson. I settled on the ET-8550 for a number of reasons, but the tipping point was that Canon only has AirPrint support on the Mac, with no real way of using ICC profiles. Epson makes an ET-18100 similar to the ET-8550 with 6 dye inks, but it's not available in the U.S.
Quick question - I cleaned the black printer head, but now when I run a test page, I have no color coming from that black print head. Any thoughts on what to do?
just wanted to leave an updated comment - it worked for me! i've been away at college so my old canon pixma pro 100 dried up. made the solution and let it soak overnight, and then used the water flosser as well (that gets pretty messy if you don't have one with adjustable settings lol). i let it dry for a few hours with a fan blowing on it, then put the cartridges back in the printer and let it sit for a while so the sponges could soak back up. it took a couple restarts but it works great!
Great video. I have the Epson ET-2850. I am planning to order the sublimation ink for it, but I want to know how to get the ink that I already have in the printer out and switch it to sublimation ink.
Wave Accounting is great for small businesses that want a free option over QuickBooks. I've been using it with InvoiceBerry for invoicing, and it works well together. It’s a good way to save money and stay organized.
Thank you for in depth up close video.I bought cheap connectors in kit like you use and struggled to compress them to stay on. This video helped show exactly what to do.
I watched your video on cleaning the Canon Pixma pro 100 printhead and was wondering where you buy your cartridges? Do you have a link to such spot? TYSM!!🙏
Mine is flashing the alarm/ white yellow ones 17 times, I contacted support, they said hardware malfunction, but I did not buy it from an authorized dealer, so they won't replace it. Any advice? I will try flipping my cord just in case that works.
The black and gray option is only available for plain paper . I put some glossy paper and choose high quality and disable high speed in de epson printer driver. Now it's printing perfect black and white, like my R2880 without color haze.
So, I have the horizontal lines that are equal, like you spoke about at :43. I'm not printing by WiFi or draft mode. Any suggestions? I've done all the cleaning, took the air out of the lines and aligned the print heads. Nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated!
