Welcome! We’re Andre and Lisa. A married South African couple who has been travelling together for almost 20 years, to more than 50 countries. In 2017 we took stock of our life and made the decision to 'retire early'. We gave up our professional careers and all our personal possessions in order to explore the world as full-time nomads. Dinan is surely nice but surely too, not the only place to be visited. Drive south discovering "golfe du Morbihan" then entire north worst too up to brest, then Quimper area famous for painters....

Out of season it's very relaxed almost everywhere. Apparently, it gets packed in summer but there seem to be little in terms of the over development that plagues other coastal regions. Technically the Tyrrhenian is off the west coast of Italy. In this video we're probably right on the edge of it.
That was amazing. What a beautiful Island. Those caves were stunning and a private guide, fancy.... Amazing drone footage guys, I so love the sound of the waves. That hike looked so cool, the scenery is breath-taking. Great to see you both getting some fresh air exercise while mixing it with some naughty ice cream, Pizza and beer treats. Thanks Ronan! It's nice to have some longer days again. One nice thing about being on a smallish island is how close you are to the coast all the time. We keep finding more amazing beaches as we go. It is getting a lot busier now and you can almost feel the anticipation of summer holidays in the air. (Sounds like a Langoliers reference 😁)

Another great video, was a good escape after a hectic work day. Only problem my bucket list of 'want to travel there' is getting longer and longer the more I watch your videos. 12:25 in groningen you have got to eat the Eierbal, Eggball.. Hard boiled eg, covered with curry gagout and breadcrumbs, fried as whole for 5 mins or so.. UNESCO heritage food of Groningen, nowhere else available

I would really enjoy exploring this city, especially in the quieter months. I love to watch an angry sea or ocean from the safety of the mainland, but not so good if you have to drive close to it as you demonstrated. Safe travels..........Andy.
Oh man I go here every other summer and it is beautiful! I went to the caves in Alberrobello in 2020 and 2022, we discovered the beautiful Polignano beach in 2022, I'm going back this year in August, and it's gonna be great!
Sardinia looks amazing, its quieter than I expected. Some of those sea views are stunning. Good on ye for getting in a run/walk. I love a bit of history so thanks for showing us those ancient buildings. I hope that ye find out the source of that noise and that its not a big deal. Safe travels.
I love that you guys were so interested in our little hidden gem's history. Many Namurois don't even know they are living over a settlement that traces back to pre-roman history.

Thanks Jo! Those custom earplugs are amazing, definitely take them with you! We used to have them for motorbike riding, now we just use ordinary silicone ones. 🙉
Hi Lisa, I returned to that video as I plan a year trip with my tiny camper. Can you make a video about HOW you log your daily spending? Are you saving all receives and put in an Excel sheet daily/weekly/monthly? Or do you use a debit card such as Wise, which has different spending categories, and you log those data in your Excel sheet? Or....? 🤔
Hi! We use an app called "TrabeePocket" to log all our spending. We like it because it can accommodate multiple currencies and you can split or group "travels" and it handles can and cards spending. We've been using it for years and if you pay once off then you can make all your own categories. Good luck with your planning and happy travels! 😊
