If not for sheer greed, I believe that we could have avoided many wars if it wasn’t profitable to the power elite. This USA that the world knows today is collapsing beneath our feet. This is something that we all contributed to in some way or another. It’s not even a question of if, but rather when in near future the mirage of stacked cards begins to fall under its own weight, card by card collapse to its foundation or core. I am optimistic that Americans will prevail through the hardest of times and we have so many changes to make to our new not yet created America where greed must be tamed regardless. Set down factory jobs are pretty much a buy gone thing of the past. Now days they make you wear steel toe boots and be on concrete floors for 10 to 12 hrs a day. It destroyed the nerves in my feet and now sometimes I can't even walk.

It depends on where you live, every recruit stay in military hotel before they get on the bus, could be one to three day before you get on the bus. Some went meps, hotel then boot camp, some went meps early then home then hotel before boot camp day, some just went meps to boot right after. Ask your recruiter
not sure if I’d call Tet the best coordinated offensive of the war. It was a tactical failure decimating the Vietnam Cong and inflicting heavy casualties on North Vietnamese units . There was no general uprising, and they fled back across the border, defeated . They happened to get lucky in the court of public opinion . The implementation of the offensive was very well executed but they lost all the ground they took along with heavy casualties.
A Marine Corps weapons platoon consist of a 60 mm motor section, a SMAW (shoulder fired multipurpose assault weapon) & a M60 machine gun the section. Mortar section typically sets up close to the company. CP. with the company commander while the other two sections get attached out to individual line platoons as attachments depending on the requirements and or missions of the line platoon..
