There is no update, its from trying to port software that uses fork() from mac/linux to windows, windows has no support for fork(), the suggested work around just does that, but thank you for trying to be helpful.
I haven't tried your ATC yet, but one thing it seems to have in common with the FMOD sounds for the aircraft is the sounds are much louder than the ATC voice. Please turn down the master slider of the FMOD sounds so the ATC voices of both your AutoATC and the ATC voices of the default X-Plane 11 and 12 radios can be louder. In X-Plane 12, I have to turn then interior and exterior X-Plane 12 engine sound sliders almost to zero so that I can hear the ATC voices over the FMOD sounds of your 747-400.
Looks really interesting! As a previous user of PF3 atc in XP11, I have few questions though. - Does it works in VR, and can you respond via button on the controller/keyboard? Does it work with World Traffic 3? Can you customize voices? Thank you in advance.
Yes and yes. "stand in" voices are included in the plugin, the android application relies on googles offering which has several hundred high quality voices you can install with the option to play them out of the android device or via PC audio. 100% designed for VR, sim "transmit" command activates the speech to text (there is an optional in VR popup that shows what was recognised for an optional number seconds before its sent, transmitting again during that time cancels and retries), there is an "autoatc in VR" video here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ic-CTEUnGpw.htmlsi=7Zz-Hgf_MKQStsCN
Hey, thank you for the awesome free addon. I have only 2 problems with it, and would appreciate very much if you could let me know how to deal with them. The first is that no matter what course I put in the FMC, I cannot engage LOC or APP mode and I get an FMC message, that the rwy/course is incorrect. The second issue is that it is virtually impossible to use ground speed acceleration (stops being usable at 8x and 16x), VNAV goes absolutely crazy and climbs at 7000fpm and then descends at 7000fpm. Nevertheless amazing addon
So the plugins just use Zink but the main game render path is still running on Vulkan correct? Like you don't need to force the entire game to be OGL (zink) which undoubtable will perform worse then native Vulkan.
