That girl was never available for adoption! CPS really dropped the ball on this one there was family willing, ready and fought for Lexi. Foster care has always supposed to be temporary not a faster cheaper way to adoption. This foster family wasn’t supposed to get that attached to her and how dare they expose their children to all this drama. Lexi was never supposed to be theirs. She is with her loving family they fought tooth and nail to get her back. The foster parents used the system to fast track to adopt a child. They should not have her call them mom and dad they made the separation really traumatizing for all who is involved which makes me wonder about their reasoning and logic skills. They walked into this not as foster parent which should have been their mentality “temporary” but no there goal was adoption from the get go. They made this way more worse than it had to be.
