This few dollar plastic pedal has enormous amounts of gain and eq power, especially in bass register. Been my spare for at least a decade without letdowns.
I still use mine but I remove the 'DIST' effect block and add the Loop 1 to the preset and use the FX loop for drive pedals. You can also run a boost into the front input the same way you would with an amp.
Yep still useing mine through a Peavey 6505+...frkn nasty... Got mine to sound like Mesa boogie...after redoing the settings.. Ill share the user preset if you guys want it...its sounds just like one... About to buy the Tonex one for it...
hay there from the netherlands, i play almost 50 years solo on fender, gibson, ibanez etc, have tried over the years, till now, amost every kind of effects also every racks. But....believe me if i say that rhe RP1 IS OVERBLOWING GOOD!!! so much better than the new stuff. LOVE THIS REALIBLE FLOORPEDAL. the RP1 is made for players like you, GOOD JOB MAN!
I have the 2x12 combo version of this but I like to plug it into a 4x12 cab, but that combo amp is heavy as hell. I found a head used for $250. Thinking about picking it up!
One thing that people never think to do with digital floor modelers; use an analog pedal to overdrive it so you can keep it's distortion gain ridiculously low. *It isn't perfect tone or clarity, but it tremendously improves what these units do.* I've had one for 15 years and granted I have much better and 2024 models, it's still useable.
terrible tutorial….the value of a guitar cannot be assessed without hearing the clean sound first. all the effects you use corrupt your tutorial…..get advice from some professional or change profession
Thanks for watching and advice. I don't play guitar professionally. I'm collecting guitar-related stuff as a hobby and this RU-vid channel is where I use it as an archive.
