When I did this releasing the gooseneck lock handle the gooseneck would not reconnect. So I had to release this after gooseneck was back in place. All else worked as described.
It’s not that bad. This is not the quickest way to do it, there’s no need to repin the dog bones when unhooking. If I was doing multiple loads a day, a hydro neck would be nice. We might take the neck off our rgn’s once or twice a month. Mechanicals work fine for us.
How Long Did It Take Your Engineers To Come Up With The Plans To Copy a 16 Tire MURRAY , Without copy Wright Infringement Lawsuit, ????? I Pulled a Murray for Years , Cozad and Siebert as well. In my opinion Murray was the Best, Anything you wanted over the Back, Anything. Never an issue.
I cant imagine seeing one after a few years of abuse, way too many parts and pieces and functions, very cool trailer but I would not trust a seat cover to operate one
Odd that the design of the flip out tail isn't sliding rather than requiring raising the whole tail to full height. It makes that section of the trailer useless for vehicle loading. the section at the start with the forklift over raising clearly isn't enough to tuck in the tail.
You're correct, but there are a lot of boom lift rental companies(for example) that never use that section while loading. So they're ok with the compromise.
