Nice John Wick vibe on the video! 😊 I absolutely love my k18i-2… except for the turrets with no numbers and no eye covers. I spent $220 on caps for the scope.. and they want $200 for a ballistic turret upgrade? Damn. Yea.. not happy with all that. But the LPVO doesn’t disappoint.
Could @Kahles offer it with SKMR1 (non-plus) reticle? Adding .2 mil divisions on the stadia were a great idea, but I don't like the alternating pattern on the SKMR1+.

Probably getting a few of these, but why in Gods name have more than 3 mil holdunder and unnumbered to boot. Just in the way and not usable at all as you have to count bottom up making it faster to just dial.
The zero stop is sited 3 or 4 clicks (0.3/4 MILS) - depending on the model - below the Zero indicator. This feature facilitates the user finding the Zero indicator quickly and intuitively even in poor light conditions and adapting the turret to special conditions such as for example very high temperatures or closer targets. BR
@@KAHLES This is something entirely different. The concept of holdunder is uding the part above the crosshairs to ”hold under” as opposed to hold over. Say you have a small target at 50 clicks and another at 30. You can dial 5mil and hold under 2mil. Most good reticles have 1-3 mil holdunder and stop. I would want 2 or 3. More is just in the way and far too slow to use. Ordered two 328 despite this gripe, but please consult a handful of top PRS shooters next time. AKA top US shooters or someone high in the pecking order from Norway, Sweden or the UK in Europe.
@@ruffen1365 Thanks for your input! If you are talking about our reticle design the reticles in our DLR-models, especially SKMR/4 were designed and adapted over time by Shannon Kay, founder of the PRS Series. You did a great choice with the K328i!
Das Kahles Ti 35+ schaltet sich leider regelmäßig nach ca.15 Sekunden während der Beobachtung einfach ab. Kann man die Abschaltzeit durch ein Firmwareupdate auf 300 Sekunden erhöhen ? Ich finde das automatische Abschalten während der Beobachtung sehr störend. Können Sie mir Tipps geben, wie man abends Vögel im Baum erkennen kann ? Im Modus Hot White werden Äste und Blätter von Bäumen so hell dargestellt, dass eine Erkennung von Tieren kaum möglich ist.

@@KAHLES Das habe ich bereits gemacht. Ich würde gerne die Funktion "automatic light" verwenden (spart Energie und ich bin nicht so auffällig). Leider wird in diesem Modus der Monitor, falls das Gerät kaum bewegt wird automatisch nach 15 Sekunden abgeschaltet. Das führt in der Praxis dazu, wenn ich mir einen Igel oder Marder länger als 15 Sekunden anschauen möchte, schaltet sich regelmäßig der Monitor einfach aus, was ich sehr störend finde. Ich hatte gehofft, das es durch ein späteres Firmwareupdate technisch möglich wäre, diese Abschaltzeit zumindest auf eine Minute oder besser 5 Minuten zu verlängern, zumal das durch die verbaute USB-C Schnittstelle ja theoretisch möglich gewesen wäre. Auch der verbaute rot Modus taugt meiner Meinung nach nichts und hätte besser durch einen bunten Modus (kalt = blau, gelb, rot = warm) ersetzt werden sollen. Ferner finde ich auch ein 8-fach Digitalzoom bei einer Sensorauflösung von 640 x 512 Pixeln überflüssig und verschlechtert die Bedienung. Ansonsten ist es ein klasse Gerät.

We didn't patend the field of view, we patend the positioning of the parallax adjustment, because it's a very helpful ergonomic design which allows only us to place the windage turret on the right or left hand side. This unique feature is very relevant if you want to stay with your eye always on target and dial your windage. With this option you don't the need too move your hand over the rifle scope for grabbing the windage turret. All our high magnification rifle scopes of the K-series are therefore available as RSW or LSW (right or left side windage) version.
I really just don’t get it. Kahles / Swarovski spend tens of thousands of dollars on glossy videos, influencers, promotions etc, but then leave themselves to the mercy of completely incompetent agents and importers in foreign countries !?!

Here’s the thing. You can put millions of dollars into research and development, you can do hundreds of custom surveys, but if you don’t have customer service, you have NOTHING ! In Australia, you have NOTHING !

@@KAHLES I’m sorry to be frank on this matter, but I have been a Kahles user and supporter for over 40 years. It saddens me greatly to see your fine product treated with absolute contempt. No stock is held in this country leading to excessive delays on purchases and there is no communication with retailers. I understand we are a long way from Austria, but service times and delays are just ridiculous. I do hope these matters are addressed in the near future and my comments are taken as intended. Cheers
Would have been a perfect opportunity to have it in a mount side by side with a competitor so you can actually see the extra 40% fov. Hard to just take your word for it without actually seeing it for yourself

Kahles have superb service. After problemes with their product, they sent me a new one. The scope was bought second hand and they took all expences. I will buy SWAROVSKI or Kahles next time.
@@werekorden DAR have reorganized and are back in the game, as I have read today. Service is already back on, production is said to commence, soon. Of course, other mothers have nice daughters, too. But DAR has always been a top choice.
