HASTA CUANDO ENTENDERAN ESOS BAILADORES DE DANZA. QUE ESTA PIEZA MUSICAL QUE ES UNA OBRA DE ARTE. NO SE DANZA SOLO POR EL HECHO DE INTITULARSE HUAPANGO ???
Fantastic Sound quality as well. Just great what western technology is capable of doing, sharing such a work for free - impossible just asked fews decades ago!
This music work of bassoon of Vivaldi is one of my favorite melodies in the classic world and it was played excellently. The artist had a good technic and nuance as well. Bravo. Plus, the orchestra was excellent, too. Thanks for uploading.
It’s a wonderful piece - lots of adventurous passages to challenge the listeners and musicians and very lovely Latin evocative sections - the orchestra had a lot fun playing it! So happy for you!
What a wonderful performance by this remarkably talented and culturally diverse group! I really love what these musicians did with the performance of this very Cuban and Jazz oriented work. Carlos Bastidas was exceptional leading the orchestra, balancing and phrasing all of the contrasting elements in the music in addition to just making it all happen so well and so effortlessly. The flute/piccolo, trumpets, French horns, strings, and percussion contributed so much to the work through their lovely interpretations of their solos in this very rhythmic and intentionally characterful music. Working with the Ontario Pops Orchestra was a truly rewarding and culturally meaningful experience. The warm reception of the musicians to this work was a personally touching experience for me and the overall appreciative attitude to making music on this night was also wonderful to be around. I felt very honoured to have my music included in this vivid and electric Latin culture music event. The concert host Laura Fernandez also contributed so much to the atmosphere of the event with all her musical feeling, personal warmth, and good humour. After experiencing the excitement and appreciation of this enthusiastic multigenerational audience and I can only say that it is high time we enrich Canadian culture by bringing more of the music of the South to the North. There is a huge repertoire to explore here and I think a renewed engagement in richness of Canadian multiculturalism is something audiences will greatly appreciate all across our country. Paul Alexander.
It’s great to hear quality, enjoyable, new music played so well. The orchestra are excellent and clearly enjoyed playing this piece. Congratulations to composer Mr. Alexander and the Ontario Pops Orchestra.
