use your brake when you’re out of control, less speed coming in the entry of the corners. don’t accelerate on grass and try counter steering a bit more
Doing good just binged your videos. Keep it up can see progress each race. I’d say just keep doing races. Once you’re online you won’t be the only one making mistakes. And you can start to follow some different lines and braking points. I found ai to be so demoralising when I first started they never lock up or make mistakes but soon as I went online it’s more about just getting through each lap clean and letting everyone else make mistakes. Looking forward to the next video
Love your video, I've been into iracing for a good while now. I have no experience withe the Vee personally, but I've seen you brake while still on throttle. I don't know if that's you or the car, just something I've noticed. Another thing that might help you is, to not be afraid. Just go full send. It doesn't matter if the car brakes, you can just reset.
clipping means the force feedback is high. basically go through your black box until you see force feedback. You can click auto after you have driven a lap or two.
When i used to do the formula vee the earlier laps were so scary knows how easy it was to spin early on. I seem to get piled in, or cause a crash myself in 90% of races still
Unless a track has a really tricky section using all the track is somethinng that happens naturally to the car when cornering. In this short when you understeered off of the track . Think of it like that happening but instead it leaves you at the white lines. If you go off on a corner you're too fast, if you have to turn and manually go to the outside then you're too slow. If you feel you should be able to make a corner faster try turning in later, rotate the car more on the apex and then be more aggressive on the throttle.
You can actually take Lime Rock T4 flat in the Formula Vee. You were just a bit late on your turn in and a bit too far to the right. You generally want to try and drift a bit left after T3 exit to open up your line for T4.
i just got into iracing myself. finally got my cockpit and rig setup. im off till wednesday if you want a fellow racing buddy whos (from what im seeing) is right at the same skill lvl haha
also you should try the rallycross ;) its a blast!. and i completely agree with how it feels and looks. something about the open tires and such just looks awesome! i play in VR and OMG i love it
feels like your FFB is clipping a little too much. You should look into that. Subs are distracting. Maybe just do a proper english CCs for youtube Vee tips: -Shift on the 4th red light for best acceleration. Shifting with overrev is correct, since the auto clutch is kicking in. -If you want easier time with Vee, use Auto Blip clutch assist and almost NEVER shift down to second. -Dont brake when turning or not a lot until you get used to the car. Lifting adds a lot of turnning. -On most tracks ride the curbs unless they are too high or bumpy. -The car is very underpowered, so you need to carry speed whenever you can and scrub as little as you can, so no flicking into turns. Run them nice and smooth, brake early and enough, never push into turns or you suffer on exits -for qualifying run the out lap very gently. This car, unlike most others, has best grip on the freshest, coldest tyres, so make the most out of the first quali lap.
@@JusSin69 in regards to the ffb, go to the graphics black box. run a few laps then click "auto" button in the lower right. iracing will adjust your ffb so that it automized that it clips rarely. def suggest doing that for each vehicle you drive in iracing so you are clipping and losing feedback. also theres a setting, forget where, but you can have operational side mirrors.
Thank you! my plan was next video to survive a full vee race and then jump into online with that experience! I've been itching to as well I am just worried about ruining other people's race but I think I am almost confident enough to try.
Formula cars are good fun. The reason I believe you’re struggling so much in the chicane is because you’re turning in to early. You should turn the car when the exit of the chicane opens its self so you can get ideally a straight shot through it. So trail brake, turn in when you have a clear shot through it, and then gently back into the throttle and avoiding the sausage curbs.
So happy to see new people super excited! The feels when first playing iracing are real! My heart rate shoots up in races 😂 im a puddle of sweat after a race 😂
@@JusSin69 yeye I'll send my username so you can add me since I'm not with my computer atm, I'd love to team and help with driving. My user is Rafael Trinh Århem or Rafael Trinh Arhem if that doesn't work
@@Andyrooo53 ooo well I used to do some rookie oval races now and then but currently I've done mostly production car challenge and the Nürburgring endurance
Just wait man. There's like hour long races. There's full F1 races there's full nascar races 😂 hell you can even be apart of a team and do the 24 hrs of nurburgring lol
@@JusSin69 they make you split it up into 4 hour intervals in per sure. I'm not good enough to run for hours. But it looks and sounds fun to do. Good luck in future races will be keeping an eye out for your shorts!
