The 800m times should be similar throughout the workout. You dont go all out on rep one and then crawl through reps 3-5. Looking at your times you probably wanted to aim to do each 800m rep in around four minutes. Basically the fact you were doing 200m reps when clearly completely exhausted means this wasnt replicating their workout at all.
Hey Jason! Great to see you pushing it on the track. A few things to considering: When you are looking at elite runners and their workouts it’s important to look at their PBs. For example, when the British athlete you mention ran his 8x4/2 workout. Do you know his all out 400 time compared to the time he was hitting in workouts? They are a lot slower I’m sure. I have done similar workouts to this (this workout is really a 3k workout) With my PB of 1:53.60. I would run the 800m reps in this workout no faster then 2:04-2:06 and the 200s in 28-26. If your absolutely best is around the 3min mark. Aiming for 3:30 would be reasonable and productive. Again this a 3k workout not an 800. The original workout you based this on was an 800m workout. 8x400/200 is totally different then this. The purpose of that 4/2 workout is to improve your speed endurance at your goal pace. So for you , you’d run the 400 in 1:25-1:30, take 30-60 seconds recovery and hammer a 200 above pace (90% effort) take 7-10 mins between sets! Hope this helps!
Hey! I really enjoyed your video, keep going! But I will recommend u to switch your shoes to some others, because air max 270s are not really designed for running and balloon inside of it can blow up) Keep an eye on Nike Pegasus 41s,they are really good fit for basically everyone)
Wow! I love the way you analyzed your position at different times and the mistakes you made. Congrats on not giving up on your goal. I can totally relate to the procrastination and trying to do too many things at once. Story of my life. Another thing that hit home was at the beginning when you talked about consistency. My downfall… I’d be so much further along with all of my goals if I could just get myself to be consistent. Any tips for that?
Thank you 🙏🏾 Well, the times when I've done well with consistency, I remember I was using either a habit tracker or calendar, and would mark off the days. That seemed to help me a lot.
Thank you bro for this video. I am experiencing hard times right now, I at one point was chasing different ways to make money passively after leaving my job to help my mom move(unemployed for almost a year now). Now, living with my brother and his family in their small apartment(I really hate it but I'm glad I'm not on the streets, I just want my privacy), I'm pursuing a new career and its had its ups and down, as well as my side hustle. In my late 20's I didn't envision myself here...cried myself to sleep many nights but thankfully I know that this is all temporary and I gladly have support to be able to vent about this. Your mistake points are almost similar to mine and others I'm sure. So as I am sitting here pursuing my objective goals , I cam across this video and it has really helped me feel better, thank you. The creator bless you brother.
I enjoyed your content and delivery so I subscribed. I think you made a wise choice with the M2 MBA (with those specs), there are many other RU-vidrs using MBAs to edit their videos. As your channel grows your hardware can grow with it.
Agh! This is genuinely really good. It's an engaging short but I when I realised I was 3 minutes into a 3:30 video it was sooo disappointing (in a good way). This would be a brilliant intro format for a longer 'review'-ish video. I genuinely want to see what your use case is like with it, how it compares to the stolen pro, what you like/ dislike, what you wish it had etc. It would be a brilliant longer form vid if you chose to extend it into one, but the tone is already great
Did the same thing as you, found a great deal on eBay for £750 on the m2 15inch. Absolutely love it. No need to spend big on brand new Apple these days it’s just too much
Would have been worth to spend the extra $100 for the M3. It supports two external monitors and 6E WiFi and newer processor. That alone is worth the extra $100.
I really like short-form story, I mean video is 3 and a half min long, and we got really good explanation what, why, when! I like that you want to experiment, try out different things, and you are def on a right track, keep it up! From Europe
Thank you! This story is kind of a standalone story, but it is part of a longer video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-b1BNHx7QisI.htmlsi=8qjY4dwwXNnHwfJQ
Great video. He did the stretching in the middle because of the leg exercises you did after. They are pretty intense. Also for the tibula exercises. Use a kettle bell if you can find one. Keep it up. More content!
man most of those are really good exercises but you are doing half of them pretty wrong, i'd advice going slower on the reverse nordic for your level, and put your all leg on the platform for poliquin step ups damn you should push from all your feet your'e missing on much more power and finger muscles in the feet, also for the tibs you should lay on a wall to create an angle, and there are many more mistakes, anyways good luck man
