Bought my 'verde muschio chiaro' green 1973 2000 GTV new from Hollywood Sports cars in January of 1973 for $5960. Then invested another $1800 or so in many Shankle Engineering suspension and tuning upgrades and used it as an autocross car for a couple of years. The dreaded 2nd gear synchro issue was always a problem and regardless of what I did, I kept losing to a couple of BMW 2002 Tii's and a ridiculously well sorted Chevy Corvair!. It was a very 'pretty' car but from a sheer performance perspective the BMW's 'ate my lunch' at will.
Nice! I have 2 66 Chevelles and I just bought a 66 El Camino last summer because it was a good deal and had a lot of new parts. It runs and drives too. No rust issues and has front disc brakes.
What a gorgeous machine, still looking great. Looks the best in that pearl white as well. After all these years the only super/hyper car that stayed in my heart forever
So nice to see a Rolls Royce out on the road instead of the repair shop. But for heavens sake take my advice and don't start it, just leave it in your garage and it will last a lifetime.
