Incredible commercial campaign!!! .... but Diet Pepsi always made my stomach hurt. ...truly! If I drank Diet Pepsi that day, I was sure to have heartburn/stomach ache at night. Coke or any other soda was okay. Something in Diet Pepsi that wrecked me. So with Diet Pepsi, I did NOT have the right one, baby.
I was able to go to the Apollo Theater, on 125th Street in New York every Saturday at noon where they had a movie then a live show with live full band and I just got to see everyone from Motown and others as well. There was nothing like it. So glad like many of you , got to enjoy the music in that era.
Haha had a smile when I saw a comment with Tamla Motown. Used to just say Tamla, born 1951 grew up in Liverpool UK, Liverpool was a great place to grow up saw so many Tamla Motown groups there, they frequented the City often. Makes my heart sing and takes me back to the day. Love it ❤
Not too many singers would or should take on a cover of Karen Carpenter. This lady, however, offers an impressive rendition of the song and Karen’s voice. Transported me back to those high school years listening to the Carpenters on my 8 track
