This morning I got up early to shoot the Strawberry Full Moon setting behind the iconic Torre España in Madrid, in this video I am sharing how I planned it.
Hi! You should be able to change the camera settings while in Av/M mode with the internal intervalometer.. (you can’t change the interval tho) if it doesn’t let you change it, I would suggest to use an external intervalometer.
Have you made a recent updated video for LRTimelapse and MW? With new masking tools and LrTimelapse there are presets to use. Would love to see an update!!!
time to go to the _next_ level, and add the astro tracker on to the slider! :-) Nice work, I'm glad the the setup worked so well for you. All you need is a more repeatable way to align with the laser (a 3D printed laser holder, maybe?).
For what it does, not very expensive indeed! Also, as you might saw my review last year, it is mainly a pan/tilt head to shoot timelapse.. the Astro tracker feature is a nice extra! ☺️
@MartinFransson yes, not ideal, but for the 400 pics, there is a workaround-ish, you can edit it the last of the 400 seq and the first of the second sequence identically and it works well.. (not perfect, but still..) then the exporting you could do it Lightroom and make a video in Davinci’s free version or other video software. 👌
That’s it, not often do you see a vlog of what at least 75% of the epic shoots end up like as we know while everyone sees only the ones that went well 🤷♂️ Good luck on the next one 👍🏻
No jajaja.
You need to take long exposures raw photos (300 or more) with a mirrorless camera and then compile it to make a video. Video camera are still not able to capture the Milky Way like this.
We don't get the best result every time! This was one of these times, the weather, the location and the company were perfect, but something didn't go as planned!
Always wondered how HDR timelapses are made. It was great to see you back Mattia. Keep posting more videos. If not tutorials, just your editing videos will do too! Thanks again for sharing informative content!😀
@@MattiaBicchi this is literally so sick. I can’t wait to get out and try it. It’s a completely new setting/tool that I’ve never experimented with. Do you have any suggestions or settings recommendations for sunrise timelapse? I own the A7iii & a Tamron 17-28mm Cheers for the help mate ;)
Also, if possible, can you do any tutorial vids on how the delve deeper into using PhotoPills? Particularly for figuring out moon rises and elevation and how to get it all together with foreground landmarks. Cheers
Thank you! Happy that I could help! 😊 depend what you are shooting at, if it’s a city, interval of 6/8 secs, keep the aperture at f/4 and use ISO 100-1600, the ISO auto SS min at 4 sec.
Hi Mattia, thanks for the helpful video 🙏🏼 However I tried for the first time today to shoot a Timelapse with the intervalometer function in Av mode on my Sonya7iii and something really weird happened… I set the aperture to 5.6, I left the ISO at auto and set it to take one shot every 10 seconds, 500 shots in total. What happened was that the camera never adjusted any settings and all the shots ended up at 1/1000 f5.6 ISO800 Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong? Thank you so much in advance!
Hi! Gland you enjoyed my video! Looking at the settings I am assuming that you shot a sunrise.. right? Have you set the Min SS ISO and the Min to Max ISO range?
Thank you so much for getting back to me Mattia 🙏🏼 I was shooting a sunset and I wanna get the transaction until night time but I haven’t set the Min SS ISO and the Min to Max ISO Range, do you think that can cause the camera to keep the same settings all the time even though I was shooting in Av mode? Thanks a lot 🙌🏼
A relaxing and chill collection of Cityscape Timelapse I made in the past 10+ years of making timelapse professionally around the world, you will notice that the two main cities are London and Madrid, which are the places I lived most of my Timelapse careers.
