It hasn't been a show based on super heroes this good since, MAYBE The Bous but this was an absolute masterpiece with awesome writing throughout the series
Right after this scene 1:54, the person plsying "Ms. Paige" (Kiki by the river), called me & said she was gonna improvise "Oh, now I know where youe bullets went", but the director told her to pretend she was crying & shocked.
This is one of my favorite examples of just how badly written this show is. Buddy torments a woman, threatens her, and then puts a loaded gun in front of her and is _surprised_ she shot him.
Or maybe punisher isn't literally superior to kingpin i mean he is more skilled than kingpin is close quarters but that isn't enough to put kingpin down and the fight will end with kingpin having punisher badly battered and injured because he isn't as agile or as skilled or smart or acrobatic as daredevil to take kingpin in a hard fight and win with extreme effort whereas he easily beat punisher in a few fights so yea i mean punisher will still put up a good fight against fisk but it's not enough to win however punisher along with daredevil is still THE GOAT 😎
Kingpin has the strength advantage but he's no pushover. Fisk actually trained in multiple martial arts including sumo wrestling, judo, and hapkido. But Punisher is more experienced and skilled in marksmanship and knows Chin Na, Hwa Rang Do, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Nash Ryu Jujutsu, Ninjutsu, Shōrin-ryū Karate and Systema.
"This is my city, my family"🔥. Never remembered him lifting him up😅. And he Should've been able to dodge his attack after he made a noise by picking up that pole.
Despite only a small role in the very first season this character of John Healy was an excellent fighter. Impressive hand to hand combat skills to say the least.
This Parkhurst agility is nothing!!! Compared to the comic daredevil. I hope born again series gets his acrobatics and roof top scenes more comic accurate.
I hope so too, I have always imagine Tom Holland and Charlie Cox should ask Marvel Studios of making a Spider-Man & Daredevil film where two heroes are taking down Kingpin.
Imagine being that incompetent that you manage to screw yourself into having an untrained civilian kill you with your own gun that you practically let them take from you. lol
Influence yes, make, no. Plenty of people go through similar things like this and choose to not be villains. Plenty of people go through things not nearly as bad as this, and choose to be villains. Our environment influences us, but does not control our actions
2:21 This is my favorite part of the fight because it perfectly sums up who Wilson Fisk is deep down. To the public and his associates (most of the time), he gives off a more well-spoken and calculating demeanor. However, deep down when the shit hits the fan, Fisk is still that angry little boy who killed his father and never learned complete self-control. Fisk’s general lack of self-control is, by his own admission when he fights Daredevil the first time, his biggest character flaw. His impulsiveness is ultimately what caused his downfall in season 1. If Fisk didn’t kill Anatoly and wipe out the Russians, Matt would have had more obstacles to climb before reaching him. Fisk’s murder of Ben Urich also left a trail for Matt to follow which was unnecessary because Urich had lost his job which meant the loss of his pull in the media. Also, if Fisk didn’t kill Leland and ordered Hoffman’s murder, Hoffman would have had no reason to go to the Feds and expose Fisk’s entire operation. This character flaw normally would be considered sloppy, contrived writing that existed solely to make things easier for the protagonist BUT it works because we are shown Fisk’s past and see that his lack of forward thinking is actually perfectly understandable, given what he has gone through. This show was the MCU at its peak, to be honest.
